Hana finally turned into a field and with a sigh of relief, as her stress began to drain from her, she walked up to the nearest tree. The tree's trunk was so wide it would have taken three people to encircle it with their arms around it. The lowest branch came up to Hana's waist and she pulled her body up onto it. Climbing the next few branches Hana reached one that was bow shaped and wide. Laying along its length she looked up through the rest of the branches as they knotted and twined in an intricate weave. The leaves glowed an amber color in the last rays of the sun.

With a stretch Hana reached into a hollow point in the tree and pulled out a book. This was one of many of Hana's personal books of the history of LunaSol. The one she now opened to the last chapter was called "Forces of the Land" and was about the transformation of LunaSol since recorded time. The last chapter, which she was almost finished reading for the fifth time, was the recent changes of the surface of the world in the last half century. Hana turned the pages longingly to the final page that depicted a map of the earth and had a small hand drawn trail on it.

Hana's eyebrows shot down as she noticed something missing. Hidden in the binding was supposed to be a list of places to travel to and what she needed to look for in each of these areas, but it was missing. "ANAH!" Hana yelled angrily, that damnable girl was always moving her stuff around. Anah knew it frustrated Hana, who was very organized, to be missing anything. Anah used this method of prank to make herself feel smarter, showing Hana that she found the hiding spot for the book AND the secret paper of travel coordinates. Shoving the book back into the hollow of the tree Hana sat up and scanned the area for her Enamid.

Sylva's fingers danced over the tops of the closing flower buds and leaves as if she was still playing the piano. She even hummed a melody as she went along. A gentle breeze picked up chilling pale skin with the coming night air. Her hair floated gently and the skirt of her dress swayed as if in a dance. For that moment Sylva felt at peace.

But that peaceful moment was brief when the sound of laughter echoed in the air. It was the sound of her parents laughing. Apparently they found something entertaining without her. Her jealously peaked. Only her parents could get away with being happy without her.....occasionally. Tonight she was a little more willing to let it go since they spent most of the day lavishing her with attention.

Garret closed the door of the house. His brown hair was ruffled from a good throw. The last rays of sun had disappeared a half hour ago. And with a lazy smirk Garret stepped down from the porch and put his hands in his pockets. Only his fingers were the only things to fit within the pockets, his leather pants pinched too much to get the rest of his hands in.

Walking down the street Garret whistled a tune. Its melody was soft yet happy. The night enveloped him and he welcomed it. He brushed a hand through his hair to attempt to look somewhat representable. Garret's long legs carried him far before long and he passed by a yard and saw a glimps of silver hair. A gentle smile spread wide across his face as he slowed to a stop and rested his arms on the fence.

"Hello there girlie." Garret said in a deep voice that pierced the darkness. His amber eyes nearly glowed in the moonlight that was just rising above the horizon. "What trouble have you been up to Sylva?"

Sylva glanced over her shoulder at the familiar that greeted her in the covering darkness. She spunned around on her heels. Her skirt and hair danced about her from the motion. In her hands she held a small bouquet of violets that matched perfectly with her piercing violet eyes that seemed fiercer in the moonlight.

"Garret.....I have no idea what you're talking about," she replied innocently. Slowly, like a graceful dancer, she approached the fence and took before him. She couldn't help but smile. Being the only one around his attention was fully on her.

She took a moment to breath in the scent of the flowers. "And what mischief are you up this night," she asked leaning forward and using the flowers to trace down his face-from his forhead then over his nose and lips. "Or should I be more specific....how many hearts will you be breaking?" She frowned a little at the thought of him leaving her, but she knew Garret....at the very least his reputation.

With a low chuckle Garret placed one long curved finger under Sylva's chin to prop it up and look into her eyes. A devilish look crossed his face with the slight grin to soften his features.

"If I play my cards right you could be number three." Garret said almost huskily. He was not a fool, he knew she would be upset learning that she was third. But the more people that wanted him...well the happier he was. It left options open, people could hardly be angry at him for too long.

With a blink he stood up straight, resulting in distancing his face from hers. He stretched, his long torso bending back, and his shirt lifted to expose his abs. Relaxing Garret gave a wink at Sylva and said, "And you know exactly what I am talking about...your devious nature does not escape me little girl."

Sylva's piercing eyes narrowed at Garret. Number three?! A displeased 'hmph' escaped her as she crossed her arms and spun to the side away from him. Number three.... She hated numbers past one, and she was to aware that Garret had just gotten the reaction he wanted out her. b*****d. And him for being one of the rare few that could charm his way out her fury. One of these days she would bring punishment upon him.

She closed her eyes a moment to calm down, and organize her thoughts. Then slowly they open and she glanced his way. She placed one finger gently over her lips as a playful.....or mischevious.....smile appeared on her angelic looking face. A plan had formed in her mind. Granted it was a risky plan for her ego and was based entirely on luck of at least one of her intended targets being around.

"You've yet to see how devious this girlie can truly be," she replied coolly, "little boy." Placing one had on the fence and using the other to bunch up her skirt she hop over the fence with great ease and grace. She then took a moment to straighten her dress and hair. "So," she asked, "where are we going?"

User ImageA look of surprise crossed Garret's face as he looked at Sylva standing before him. Once his brain finally processed all the information he let out a bark of laughter that turned into a giggle. I was not expecting company quite yet on my stroll, but I suppose poor Sylva just can't possible stand the thought of someone replacing her in my thoughts this evening. With a short cough to clear the throat Garret made an extravagant bow to Sylva and offered her his arm in escort.

"Wherever the moonlight takes us" Garret said in his best 'nobleman' act. He really had no plan of destination this night and was in fact just out to get into trouble. Since his Sol twin was nowhere to be found and his immediate lust for pleasures had been satisfied Garret wanted good old fashion mischief. As one can imagine it was not hard to find.

A slight breeze picked up and rustled the leaves in nearby trees and the moon was now nearly to the apex of its travels. The night air was chill and moist with what would be dew on the grass in the morning. The stars were dimmed by the lunar luminescence. Tonight was a perfect summer evening, the last in fact, and Garret wondered at the absence of people on such a fine night. Though, as he thought about it, he had in fact not traveled far through the small town before he was caught up in Sylva's ever demanding presence. Perhaps others were out around town in similar small groups.

Sylva's mischievious smiled remaind as Garret bowed, but then her expession went back to a calm serene look like that of a porcelain doll. She took his offer he offered in silence. Briefly she looked up at his face-the tiniest hint of a smirk tweaked at the edge of her mouth.

This night was becoming much more eventful than she first thought. Hopefully it would turn out to be entertaining and....beneficial-for her.

The breeze, a bit chilled for the night air, nettled her cheeks causing them to become a tad rosy. But this only added to the cold and silent beauty that she was. Wherever the moonlight takes us, hmmmm... she thought. Perhaps it'll lead us past Cloud. She smiled at the possibilty of running into Cloud.....and the hopes of him 'stealing' her away from Garret-which would hopefully wipe that cocky smile off his face.

Although she would settle for Garret's brother, Brandt, too.

User ImageHana was storming back into town, it was dark already and she was on a war path. The chill made her skin prickle and she felt as though something bad was lurking around the corner. She hesitantly turned onto the next street.

Boy was she right. Before her were two Enamids. Just great, I am off to practically kill my Enamid and I run into two more. With my luck they are all in cahoots and sent to delay me. Hana was not an exceptionally carrying person towards Enamids. That is why she felt her sole purpose was to find the Medallion and the 'Pure One' to fix this abominable mix up that has been plaguing the Sol citizens for centuries. All those bleeding hearts that protest they are just people trying to make it through this world too should be forced to understand that these things were just manifestations of people's sins. Perhaps if they found the Medallion even sin itself would be wiped from this world.

With a scowl Hana marched towards Anah's people. As she approached she saw that one of them was Garret. She had known that the girl was Sylva and had just assumed that the other person was also Enamid. And though Garret was Enamid Hana found it hard to dislike him. She would not dream of liking him, but her manner always softened towards him than other Enamids. Trying to stay stern Hana stopped directly in front of the two and placed her hands on her hips and demanded "Where is Anah?! One of you two should know you all run in the same crowd." Hana's brilliant navy blue eyes glared at them waiting for the answer.

Perhaps out of instincts Sylva tighten her hold on Garret as if making sure he remember that he was her company this evening. She didn't offer Hana a welcoming smile when the girl came barging up to them and demanded information. Information she didn't have, but she would savor the misery Hana seemed to be in at the moment.

"Watch your temper, Hana," Sylva replied keeping a clam exterior, but practically shooting daggers with her eyes at the Sol girl. "It's that attitude of yours that make people think you're.....one of us." Sylva really didn't understand why Hana hated Enamids so much. She herself had no problems with them or the other Sol, her own twin being the exception, other than when their attention to her strayed. The more Sol equaled more Enamid which in turn increased the chances of more attention on her.

"Why would I concern myself with where your twin is?" Sylva replied coolly.

User ImageFeeling the tension between the two girls Garret's face showed how serious he had become in just a few seconds. He knew there was no threat from Hana, at least not yet. But, Garret could sense the animosity from Sylva's end of this encounter. At this he became more protective of both the girls. He would not just stand by and let two women duke it out, what kind of coward allowed such a thing?

Garret pulled his arm from Sylva's clinging grasp, only to wrap it around her shoulders. He wanted to assure her that there was no need to go on the offensive. Taking a more relaxed stance so as to get rid of the tension in the air Garret put on his most charming smile. "Now Sylva, there is no need to be uncivil" Garret looked at Hana with a more serious face, "Hana, I dont know where Anah is. If I did I would tell you immediately because you are such a beauty I would hate to see that face pout any longer. I am sure if you start at the most likely place she would be you would find her quite quickly."

With his arm still around Sylva, Garret leaned towards Hana and lifted a lock of hair as he looked her in the eyes. In a very serious tone he said to her, "please don't assume we are all the same, we are as varied as the people we are mirrored from. And know I will never think you know where my darling twin is just because you are both Sol." Garret ended on a brilliant smile and stood erect again. "Hana, I would love to stay and play with you my darling since you are such a hard puzzle to figure out. However, I am currently on a walk with dear Sylva and it would be unwise for a gentleman such as I to make a woman walk home by herself." This last statement was intended to be his last word and he shoved the hand that was not around Sylva into his pants pocket.

Sylva tried to not look displeased when Garret forced himself out of her grip. However the displeasure quickly subsided when he returned to wrapping them around her shoulders. She relaxed a bit although her cold violet gaze never left Hana. The girl had fouled up her mood by dividing Garret's attention.

She fought hard against the desire to smack both of them when Garret then dared to touch Hana's hair. She had the image of a being a lady to uphold. And she still had her own plan to get back at Garret. All good things come in time.... she told herself and took a deep breathe to calm herself down.

To distract herself Hana, Sylva leaned into Garret and started tracing circles over her chest with her finger. She became satisfied when Garret was going to remain in her company a while longer yet.

User ImageHana went quite and her eyes softened as Garret talked. When he grabbed her hair and leaned close to her she stopped breathing for a few seconds. As he returned to Sylva's side Hana saw Sylva's glare. Hana went immediately on the defensive.

Hana became angry almost instantly. Garret tricked her! He lowered her guard and she could not let any Enamid get that close to her. With a hateful look towards the both of them and one last stinging look at Sylva She turned around swiftly and walked down the street. Farther down but not out of earshot sHana said loud enough for both of them to hear her, "In three days time I will be rid of this place are you Enamids to purify the word of all your kind" and with that she turned the corner onto a new street.

As she turned onto the street Hana walked quicker, she was going to hunt down that brat Anah and get her paper back, the night was almost over and the day after tomorrow she was setting out on her journey.

Sylva was pleased when Hana finally stormed off. Although the comment...or threat she had shouted to them left her a bit distressed. Purify the world of Enamids? That meant she would disappear....be forgotten...while her twin would probably laugh at her grave. If the Sol even had the decency to give them one.

"I suppose this has earned you a point in my favor," she replied fiddling with his shirt. Then she sighed and leaned into him. Hana truly had it out for them apparently....and she couldn't have that. She refused to disappear. A plan to stop her would have to be made. However....for the moment she wanted to purge the girl from her thoughts.

"So....we were going where the moonlight took us, correct?" she asked.
