I've picked up a baby (poisonous) snake a few years ago, and this year I picked up an adolescent opossum. Both were pretty cool times in my life. And... let's see, I had found a formerly-pregnant pure white pit bull(possibly a mix-bred), who had an okay temper, but was completely nice when walking with me to the dog park, which is fenced in. I would've LOVED to keep her, but.. yeah, parents would've disagreed with me on keeping it, lol. I hope somebody found her and maybe took her in... She was such an angel to me with some help of another dog owner.

Glad to hear you have some experience in this area and are not going into this half halfheartedly.

I do not want to say names, but we have had members before that were constantly taken in exotic animals that they were not prepared to take care of and it seemed like every week one of them was sick or had recently died because of improper care.

I had a hedge hog droped into my lap allong with a rabbit corn snakes a chinchilla and a domesticated robbin ... that year was fun...

It sounds like Mortella has a good mind for what to do and expect (Sadinda is my mule, btw). I would be interested in what types of behaviors you encounter with the fox and how they correlate with a dog vs wolf vs coyote. All canids are scavengers and survivalists, able to adapt well into any environment, so I am sure this little fox will do well in your home.

IF I could have any pet in the world though, I would want a Scrat X3 Ice Age kinda made me want one, even though they don't really exist anymore, still it was just so cute to me lol.

wild animals shouldn't be pets..I wont complain though,just be prepared to keep it for years,even if you have issues with it.
I had a malamute mix,who was even close to a wild animal,,and she killed my hamster,killed rodents and a cat..and would try to attack any animal that seemed like prey

shiba inu`s look more like foxes then akitas..akitas are 50-100ibs
