No demons in the poll crying
Oh well, sexy nightmarish hawt beasts aside, my favourite fantasy creature would be of my own creation: the fahirs.
The base is originally something elfish, but shorter than the average human (roughly a head shorter) with long ears pointed downwards like on a bunny, but not quite as floppy.
The waist is thinner than on a human, and the eyes are bigger, giving them a rather helpless first impression. They are weak and rather fragile. Their main defence is "play dead" and the as soon as they see something ever so upsetting they will thus faint and fall to the ground.
As a compliment, they have extremely good memory, more or less photographic, they are quick thinkers, learns fast and have a talent for magic.
For some reason alcoholics don't work on them. 5 bottles of wine affects them no more then the equal amount of water.
