Requiem in Mortis Shrantics Pretentious Ego A 24", 4lb kukri. Despite the fact that it's closer to an axe than a knife, it's still technically classified as a knife. That can behead you. I desire a Kukri. In fact, there's a place where I can buy one. Just need to get my damned ID..... stare Although I don't want to see my parent's reaction when I walk into the house with a foot-long curved Nepalese knife in my hands. S&W makes a pretty good kukri

S&W makes a pretty good kukri Not really. It isn't designed to weigh more at the front of the blade like Himalayan Import's Ang Khola, and it only weighs 1.3 pounds. Kukri 17 inches long should weigh at least 1.75 pounds, preferably 2 pounds or more.

THIS is the beast of well-made kukri. However, it's really heavy, so for most people I'd recommend a smaller kukri. 4lbs is heavy? since when?

It's as heavy as the wood-splitting maul I own.

Fresnel Aunt Nagase Fresnel I know relatively little about blades, but that article is full of tripe. In the end, it's an upscaled FS fighting knife, which Nagase mentioned earlier. Not Asian AT ALL. It's a gigantic stiletto. The FS isn't a stiletto, though, so how could it be a scaled up FS and a gigantic stiletto both? A stiletto is a stabbing knife with no cutting edge, while the FS knife is double edged for ease of slitting a sentries throat. Essentially it's a bladed stiletto. But really, I was reading other Wiki pages about similar stilettos based on the FS knife and got mixed up. Still a good knife though stare
