Oh god, so many to choose from!
I guess I'll just have to list my fav characters from animes . . .
(In no particular order . . .)
Naruto - Rock Lee
Elven Lied - Lucy & Mayu
Higurashi no Noku koro ni - Shion
Pokemon - Misty (And Eevee)
Bakugan - Marucho and his bakugan
Fruits Basket - Kyo & Kagura
Dragon Ball Z - Pickilo (Sp?)
Oh god I could go on with other animes and manga charactors but I will stop myself now!

I've not seen to many animes but mines probly Light Yagime and Misa from death note, Trunks from DBZ, and .............the main guy from the First Gundame Series.

Trigun's Nicolas D. Wolfwood. I'm not an emotional person but there may have been a few tears when he died.
FMA's Colonel Mustang does take up a close second though.

I would say I do love the progression of Akito Tencawa from Nadesico. They did a good job of him being the wimp to the hero and then the anti human Akito during the movie they made.
