I concur with this- goths have a more open view to accepting the negativity in the world... a view of realism, indeed... however while most goths = nutters (myself up there), I don't think we all are

I don't think that this is nessicarly true.
I think that Goths just happen to be more open to the fact that there is negativery in the world. I'm not sure if its a 'depressive' veiw as such but more of a realistic veiw.

Both positivity and negativity skew reality.

Granted, in my experience, positive people are less likely to be able handle reality, but, still, life isn't a giant pile of suck, either.

I used to always say that at least when you're negative about everything, you don't have to worry about being disappointed.
