I'm impressed.
I've been reading through a lot of these articles hoping to pick up on new words an whatnot, and your lesson is the only one I've come across that I didn't have any disagreements with.
And ga sort of marks objects/subjects like ha does, but I think it's more parenthetical. Like you won't see it at the beginning of a sentence.
The only contexts I've heard is used is with the verb 'to like'.
"Orenju jusu ga suki desu" or to add a numerical value.
I LIKE ORANGE JUICE
"Watashi to tomodachi ga san nin ha... [Rest of sentence]"

I have no idea why.
And I realize I contradicted myself with the 'beginning of sentence' thing, because that sentence has a ga before the ha...
If you are confused about 'ha' I'm using it in place of 'wa' because that's the direct convert from hiragana, and I try to use as little romaji as possible.
If you can give me a clearer definition of 'ga', that'd be great, because there is hella haziness all about it.
