Ryujin, Kaede vs Mangetsu, Kumori

Kaede was barely even phased by kumori's diversions and attack. She easily turned towards him and quickly jumped back far enough to get out of range of his stabbing attacks. "Decent speed." She admitted tilting her head to the side a bit. She reached behind her and pulled out her Raikyu and Rasengan. She quickly sheathed her sword while she was still a distance away from Kumori and started spinning the two objects around her, with the Raikyu charge still not activated, much like the dart and chain techniques. They moved so fast a whistling sound could be heard as they moved. It made quite the impressive show and prevented attackers from getting close to her. Kaede easily moved with the weapons as she took steps to circle Kumori again twisting and turning to keep the weapons flowing smoothly through the air.

Kumori was annoyed at his target already. "Reason's why i dislike these kinds of ridiculous games" he said as he watched her spin her dart and chain. Kumori put away one of his shorts swords back into its sheath on his left leg and reached into his pocket to take out two more smoke bombs and threw them immediately into the ground covering himself and Kaede in a cloud of smoke. "Think those weapons will help you in this kind of situation? " He said as his voice faded away and his steps and everything vanished again.

Kaede chuckled as the air vortexes created by her Rasengan easily clears the smoke as she let more chain out to increase the range. "Yes." She said simply with a laugh in her voice as the she grinned back at Kumori.the Rasengan and Raikyu making that lovely high pitched sound fast objects make through air.


(FYI: Neither the Rasengan nor the Raikyu are Dart and chains. They are wielded like that but the Rasengan is a ball with special cuts that creates pressure and airflow attached to a chain so it can be spun and used long range. This is why your smoke will do nothing.. Even if it was just a dart and chain it is moving fast through the air and would probably still clear the smoke away)

After she blew away the smoke Kumori was no longer visible, hiding already in the outside ring of the dome they were in or maybe just closer. Waiting and watching for the right time to strike.

( True but weapons like that are always hard to aim and fight with, especially after attacking once and it fails, even more so when the chain is longer during spining )

Kaede used her elbow to tap the button on her waist to start charging her Raikyu. After all the Rasengan did not need to hit it's target to work and when combined with the Raikyu it because a more plausible weapon, the Rairyu no Tatsumaki. And it also worked well as a defense layer too. While Raikyu charged she tossed the Rasegan towards several hiding places the chain snapping many tree branches off.

(Next time try describing how he got where he is hiding his position as he hides and where he is hiding a bit better. it was a little bit too much like a "poof" this time though I understand you used the smoke as cover)

Hiding in one of the trees all the way at the top Kumori was watching carefully and waiting for the time to strike since not all great defenses can last forever. Yet he also knew that not all great hiding places can last either. "I'm going to need to prepare some traps" he said quietly to himself. Looking at the other trees and where she was standing, he took out some more of his smoke bombs used some cloth of his to wrap them with and threw them each at different trees. The purpose of the cloths were to make sure they don't accidentally explode on contact. "yosh, now then" Kumori reached into his inner coat pockets and took out a thin chain with a small weight on its tip from his pocket "this should do just right" He said as he waited for Kaede.

Kaede rolled her eyes she could see a particular tree swaying differently from the others due to Kumori's weight at such a vulnerable point. Not only that but she could pick up something that sounded strangely like mumbling as well as having heard weapons come from the branches in that area. She smirked and kicked up a small stone from the ground. She swung the Rasengan hard like a bat sending the small rock straight towards Kumori's hiding place. She followed that initial rock with around four others the pitch of her Rasengan changing because the scratches caused the air to be more turbulent.

Kumori quickly jumped up higher to the top of the tree as the rocks hit the tree. From the top he jumped up in the air and threw the chain with its weight right at Kaede, the weight itself had another smoke bomb attached to it.

(BE careful! you already SAID he was at the top of a tree if he is at the top of the tree there is no way to go further up. I will give you this one since you leap from the tree afterward.)

Kaede easily dodged the chain. Since it was thrown from the very top of the trees it had a rather long way to go before it reached her. She was a fast and talented ninja and was already out of range of the smoke screen by the time the chain hit the ground. Seeing her enemy out in the open with nothing to do but fall a rather long distance to the ground Kaede kicked up a few more stone hitting them towards the falling ninja with the Rasengan, already accepting she would need to repair it after the fight. She sighed heavily to herself raising an eyebrow in disappointment. She had hoped for a decent fight but it all this guy did was throw smoke and injure himself by jumping such a distance it was going to get irritatingly boring very soon.

Kumori who was falling saw the stones come his way and took out one of his short swords and deflected them seeying as his chain did not get tangled into hers, which is what he was hoping for, all he could do was focus to not get too hurt while falling and thus the moment his feet touched the floor he pushed foward into a roll avoiding any serious injuries and remaining with some bruises. " I've had enough of this stupid fight..." he says as he gets up and swings his chain in a small circle. "I've been trying tobeat you too much with my guild's style.... but i should have figured that wouldn't work while you know i am here.... so i will have to switch to a different tactic" he says as he swings the chain in a larger circle over his head and swings it towards her.

Kaede glared at Kumori and backed away. She liked her weapons enough not to use them to tangle his up and she still wanted to use the Raikyu which was almost fully charged. In face one could feel and almost see the electricity coming off the small ball as it whipped through the air. Soon enough and she would be able to use it to take out her opponent.

Kumori stood there watching her with piercing eyes waiting for her to make an opening for him to strike. Constantly spinning the chain over head while holding his sword sword down he starts to walk towards her to force her to react and put pressure on her.
