well you see orginally it was set for that time cause it was suppose to be done by the end of most people's christmas break (or a few weeks afer) so I figure with a short time frame we'd get more people doing it if it was a shorter video. Also it seemed like more of a challege to come up with a short video.

Well, I'm thinking about changing the contest to a regular AMV contest. I'm not sure if I should allow old amv's or make some kind of theme to go with the contest.

What does everyone think?

I just became an official member of the guild today, but I'd be more than happy to help judge or to join. *smile* I thought the short video was a good idea because you'd have to think harder about the clips you add, but long videos display people's skill because they have to keep on task. Hmmm....Are you thinking lip-sync vids, clip-match vids, a mix, or whatever people want?

you sdhould make peopel use the same song, have them use a certain anime, and have them make a 30-45 scond clips of a part of the song. they choose the part but it has to be part of that one song.
