Requiem in Mortis
The P90 wasn't meant to be a precision weapon for range. It was built for extremely short distances or to be hidden under a jacket. If you're using a P90 for distances more than 10 feet, you probably need a different weapon.
Why the hell are you using such a large, heavy gun for that range, though?
P90s are short and light. Whatchoo smokin'?
Ain't shorter than a pistol, ain't lighter than a pistol, and most certainly less effective than a pistol.
Not too much longer. It can easily be used in one hand.
Hence, it's also damn close to as light as a pistol, too. Especially a full-steel pistol. It's not a rifle. It's not a submachinegun. It's a PDW, or Personal Defense Weapon. It was designed specifically to be small, light , maneuverable, accurate, have a large magazine, and have an acceptable rate of fire. In the rifle-length barrel in such a small package, it gets great accurace, and power, out of the little 5.7 round.
What the ******** you smokin?
It's got a 50-round magazine in a tiny package. It's a hell of a lot more effective than a pistol. You know any pistols with a 50-round magazine that can pierce body armor? No? IT wasn't designed to replace the pistol, it was designed to fill a niche BETWEEN rifle and pistol that couldn't be taken up by the SMG. It retains the accuracy of a longer barrel, even with crap sights, that a pistol cannot physically have. It has a higher velocity from that barrel than a shorter barrel in the same caliber. It's middle-balanced, which is a hell of a lot easier with that design than any pistol.
