Rush? It was a concept that he didn't think about. Perhaps being a mortal, what they did seemed rush, but then, mortals had no where the same amoutn of time as gods.
He felt a little bothered by that, but it was only because it reminded him that he wasn't what he used to be.
Shaking that off, he shook his head. "No, I've barely looked around. I probably would step into the wrong place if I didn't have someone to tell me 'no! don't do that!'"
The idea of Death was frightening, but only because he had just felt was death was like, and it had felt eternal. Now he knew better, but still...he didn't think he wanted to be a cub forever, either.
"Souls? Even mortal souls?" he asked, knowing that he seemed foolish, but it was another new concept to him. He had always figured that clouds were born from the souls of the dead; that was why their pure white children were so cherished.

Mtima took another quick look around when Tawa'di suggested there might be places they couldn't go but she couldn't think of any. Except maybe beyond the gate, but that was kind of a given and Death lurking nearby was certainly enough to keep her from trying anything like that.
"I dunno if there are places you'd get told that except past the gate," she remarked, looking back at Tawa'di with a smile, "Only mortal souls go there, I dunno what happens when they go through the gates but I don't think even Death knows that." Maybe he did, but imagining it as something he knew made her think maybe he had some influence or control in it and the idea was just grim enough to stop her from speculating about that.
"Do you wanna see?" she asked.

Ta'wadi couldn't help himself. The idea of finding out more about this place that was something of a home intrigued him. He nodded to Mtima, his wings curled around his body tight, betraying a little of his excitement. Death was a frightening idea, but he couldn't resist just taking a little peek. And he was sure that they wouldn't get too close to the Gates. Nah, he wouldn't mind looking a bit far away.
"I would love to see that," he said with an exuberant nod, his tail twitching a bit with excitement. It was odd, feeling as if he was being a little devious, but it was easy enough to ignore. He was a cub again after all, and while he was a cub it would be easy enough to get out of getting into too much trouble.

"OK, come on," she said excitedly, hopping around to face right direction, "I'll show you."
Mtima was always happy to show others what she knew and this was something she felt she knew a fair bit about. She ought to, anyway! After all, she was the goddess of souls and this was where they went when they were finished. As she hopped along, leading the way to the gate, the butterflies trailed after her.
