I'm lazy, too. D:

But one day, someone is bound to ask me, "MAKE A DESIGN WITH A PHOTO OF MY DOG. THE PHOTO'S KINDA BLURRY, SO MAKE IT BETTER."

And I'm like, "I NO USE PHOTOSHOP."

Thus, I don't make any moniez.

And I don't eatz.

And Arti diez.

Too bad, so sad.

Aw s**t.

Out of curiosity, I checked out Illustrator CS4, and a lot of the features that Inkscape had that weren't available in AI's previous versions, are now in it's CS4 version.

Ugh!

I might have to abandon you Inkscape, I might...I might. I dunno.

If AI's still memory hungry as before, I may stick with Inkscape, but AI is the industry standard after all...

BOOOOO.

I may have to...erhm...sample this CS4. >.>

inkscape will cry when you leave D:

Yeah, so I checked it out, and, CS4, I no like you. Your UI is clunky and awkward, although improved from previous versions. And you're really big...hefty. Your blob brush is neat, but unnecessary. neutral

I dunno. Maybe CS5?

*pets inkscape*

i'd never leave you, bby

When I think of MS paint, I think of making game sprites. And I've seen some really good anime artwork done in MS paint. But I've never seen graphics done in MS paint.

Can I see some of the things you've done in MS paint? If you don't mind. smile

When I get my new computer I'll be sure to try this out. I still adore AI though. My first experience with it turned out amazing but I don't use it all that much. I'm a photoshop-aholic. ^^;

I used AI before I found Inkscape as well, and I loved it. I find that Inkscape is designed more for creating graphics for web-use only, while AI is powerful for creating graphics that will be used in books, posters, brochures, t-shirts, what have you.

So Inkscape is just right for the work I do, since I don't know too much about desktop publishing.

Now that AI CS4 is out, the only thing that Inkscape has over AI (besides being less complex) is that graphics can be viewed in accordance to its actual size in real life. For example, in Inkscape, a business card (3.5in x 2in) will be the exact same size of an actual business card held against your computer screen. AI doesn't do that for me--graphics in AI are always scaled down from its true size for some odd reason. neutral

The only time I'd use Photoshop, or any similar programs, is to manipulate photos. I can't imagine doing all of my graphic work in Photoshop.

@mashumari: AHMAHGAWD. That is really great stuff you've got there! Those borders are quite snazzy.

Relatively simple? But simplicity is key! Simple graphics make the biggest impact.

I'm starting to think you can use MS Paint for everything.

Actually, Paint.NET was designed to be an upgrade for MS Paint. So if you want a program that has all the functions of MSP, along with a few basic, Photoshop-like features, you should totally download it.
