Koya nodded, understanding the need for the other goddess to wait on motherhood. It wasn't something that one simply dived into. In her case, she hadn't had a choice, but she knew that she was ready. Nya, on the other hand, had other business to attend to before she settled down with a family.
"I think it is rather different. Perhaps the motherly instincts a bit stronger. But we are all mothers, one way or another. It is programmed into us, and we cannot ignore it." She remembered when she had first realized that she was carrying Ezriel's cubs. It had been shock, then anger, then acceptance and even joy. She had been shocked that she had allowed it to happen, angry that she had fallen weak under Ez's charm, accepting of her situation, then joyous at the prospect of being a mother. She supposed that was how it made all mothers, in the end; it made them happy to be creating and taking care of new life.
"But we are not always ready to be mothers," she mused, continuing her own thoughts. "I think you are doing the right thing, waiting until you have everything figured out. A cub needs consistency," she spoke, but then cut herself short and blushed. She supposed Nya must already know this, and Koya was simply spewing common knowledge. She connected it to her pregnancy, for it was occupying most of her thoughts and preventing her from thinking clearly.
When the other spoke about needing to find out what had happened to her, the silver goddess had an idea, but knew that she couldn't do it in her condition. Nevertheless, she offered it up: "If I may... I have the ability to see into one's past simply by touching them. For immortals, I need their permission. I am willing to help look, although I'm afraid I could not do such a thing now. It takes a considerable amount of power from me, and I am not willing to risk the safety of my cubs. But perhaps later, when they are born and you have not figured it out, I may be of some help?"
Her cubs kicked once more, and she winced, sitting herself down promptly. "You see?" she chuckled. "They are in control right now."

Nya nodded. "Yes. Consistency. There is much I need to do before I can think about cubs. I need to go back to my lands and see that my people are safe and find my brother first. Then I may take a moment to quiet down and make a family... but not yet. Soon hopefully." She paused and looked to the lioness.
"Perhaps when you are strong enough I will take you up on that offer... I would like to know but not knowing is not harming me..." She said giving the goddess a grin. "I appreciate the offer. I wish there was more I could do for you. Perhaps, when your time comes I will be around and assist if I am needed."
She looked to the lioness's belly and chuckled. "Course, you look fit to burst. I am sure the time will be soon." She said, looking off. 'I should go... I have to find my brother. " She looked back. "But I want to thank you for the kind company. I hope that someday we can meet again and perhaps make it a habit." She stood up and gazed into the distance.

Koya nodded her head in understanding, and the cubs moved along with her. She winced, and wondered when they would arrive. Nya had said that her time would be soon, but how soon was that?
At the other's response to her offer of help, the silver goddess dipped her head in acknowledgement. She hated that she was unable to help in her current situation, but she was relieved that the other goddess wasn't harmed by the fact that she didn't know. Perhaps she wasn't meant to know. If she had been injured so severely that it caused her to go into hibernation in order to survive, then Koya wasn't sure if anyone could quite stomach the details.
"Oh, I'm sure I will do fine," she spoke, although she didn't quite believe her own words. She had given birth before, and it had gone smoothly, but that had been to a mortal cub. And only one at that. There was no telling how many godlings rested within her womb. As if on cue, the cubs in her belly kicked and caused her to wince once more. They sure took after their father, even before birth.
"But I am glad that I know someone who would be able to help." She smiled and nodded her head once more, acknowledging that the other goddess needed to be on her way. She had much to do. Koya herself knew that she had certain things to tend to. "Oh it was my pleasure," she grinned, genuinely happy that she had bumped into this goddess. She was kind and friendly, a nice change of pace from Ezriel. "And I'm sure we will meet again. The world is vast, but we do have this place in common. Perhaps after the cubs are born I will bring them to show you." She smiled again, then stretched and made as if to leave.
"I wish you the best of luck in finding your brother, and in finding out what happened to you. Farewell, Nyasambe, my friend." With that, she began to slowly take her leave, almost waddling under the weight of her enormous belly.

Nya smiled. "I would love to see them. I haven't seen god cubs in so long... I think I would appreciate it.. no-I know I would. I would really appreciate that Koya." She said softly, her blue eyes half lidded. "I hope they ease up on that kicking, they may punch a hole right through you... only joking of course."
She stood and shook off her fur. She supposed it would be a good time to go find her brother. Seeing this goddess made her antsy for family. "I wish you the best of luck with your litter Koya. May you and your mate be blessed!" She said, turning and chuckling at the last image of Koya she say.
