Being a girl that was stuck living as a guy for almost 20 years, I'll go with "Most of my life".
Early childhood being thaught "what little boys should do", coming out it about desire to transition, being discovered as furry, trying to figure out my orientation in general, my first few relationships, trying to explain to officers why I refuse to use the men's bathroom... XD

I think I've gotten used to the awkward by now, but I'll be damned if there ain't people standing on the other side of the fence shoveling it back in my life for shits and giggles. sweatdrop

Me and my girlfriend weren't allowed to see each other outside of school, so we used to go do our naughties in a single-person bathroom just outside of my social studies classroom..

Well, one day after school we were just about to go in when lo and behold, my teacher comes out of the classroom.

My girlfriend SHOVES me into the bathroom and slams the door shut!

I hear my teacher ask her who she was talking to.

"Myself?"
He says:
"Ah, that's okay. As long as you don't start answering yourself, you're good to go."

And then he left! xDD

Well, you can't just "used to be" a lesbian, even if you're brainwashed by religious cultists. You would have had to be bisexual (or pansexual, if you want to use that term) the whole time, and just didn't realize you liked guys until later.

Mine didn't and I tried rather hard when I was younger. Of course, I didn't go through shock treatment as some people had been forced in to in the past. Admittedly I stopped though, pesky acceptance, pride, and things of that nature.

Nevertheless, there is a big difference in discovering versus changing. As Lee pointed out.

I would also like to add that rubbing up against something doesn't really change sexuality or else we all would be palmsexuals.

Although, I am forgetting about how fashionable sexuality is becoming. Soon it literally will be someone waking up one day and deciding they'll be gay for a day. Or straight! Maybe Bi. Trying on sexualities like shoes... Insert here, put it there, it's no different than ideologies and beliefs. We live in a world were not even reality can stop you. Escapism rules supreme and authority and truth is so passe. Bisexuality may be 90s, but homosexuality can be naughties and 10s! Lets all have a gay ol' time in this new century and millennium were anything is possible. 3nodding
