Rando was just put in place for those who didnt' want to predetermine so it wouldn't put anyone in the possible realm of godmoding. *nods* That, and it's fun. Lol.
Definately up for predetermined though if you have a certain lvl of damage you need. *smile*

Damage wise, I was thinking along the lines of some pretty nasty cuts and maybe a hurt leg. Nothing seriously life threatening, but enough to scare the hell outta her.

Dixie, I'd like to consider RP'ing with 'Nos. It'd be a first RP experience with a Skinwalker ... and I'm interested. I'm conferring with the other owner of Fantome ... but if it turns out I can't use him ... I'll offer Lyrical Sky for RP instead

Fantome can be injured as long as it isn't a long-term disability. Perhaps set plot damage would be the safer route to go by ... but as an Angeni (and semi-ghost one at that) this battle's going to be awkward. I also admit ... I haven't RP'ed Fantome yet so his personality is still clouded to me and I'm also new to RP'ing an Angeni Soquili (( I actually have to head off for sleep now ... I'll look for a reply later this afternoon ))

tefla: I wouldn't think there would be any long term. I rando numbers 1-5, then you would react based on the damage.
1- Misses by a mile
2- Near miss
3- hit with minimum damage
4- hit with moderate damage
5- hit with heavy damage
Like... If it was your turn to strike and you rolled a 4 I would write a reply based on being struck with a moderate hit.
If it were my turn to hit and I rolled a 2, you would write a reply where your soquili just -barely- gets out of the way in time.
I won't do anything long lasting (or fatal) unless it's by the request of the other participant if it's for their plot or something.

I see. That sounds reasonable.
Yeah ... nothing fatal or long lasting ... but the idea behind the rando seems easy enough to follow. (Would we rando in the RP thread itself)

I was wondering if you wanted to rp Dardanos and Ellette? I'm looking for a fight to cause some damage on her to aide in yet another rp. Ellette is a warhorse but she is still young, inexperienced, and even though she is a talented fighter she can be overconfident. If she is challenged or attacked by him she would definitely try to fight back and defend herself instead of running. I think this is an important lesson for her to learn. Let me know if your interested ;3 EllettePlot thread with her personality
