Could you sticky this? I'll edit the "Truth" section later, when I'm not feeling so tired. :')

I have a question! O:
How reliable is the Hadith to a Muslim? And the least reliable person in the Hadith, how reliable is that person still?

mazuac I have a question! O:
How reliable is the Hadith to a Muslim? And the least reliable person in the Hadith, how reliable is that person still? Ahadith are as reliable to a Muslim as the Qur'an, as long as they are authentic, because whatever the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wa sallam) did was in conformity with what Allah commanded & revealed. To try to answer the question of the "least reliable person," those who aren't reliable or are less reliable are usually rejected along with their narrations. In Islam, we try to obey Allah & His Messenger as well as possible which leaves little room for unreliability & uncertainty, especially concerning hadith. Good questions!

I want to know the difference between the Sunnis and the Shia Muslims. I never really understand the true differences between them.
