Dareia giggled a bit at his comment. "Yeah, but then it'd be hard for them to get out!" She said, a twinkle of laughter sprinkled atop her speech. Merely imagining a lion entagled within another's mane made her grin wildly; if only she could view it in real life, instead of in her day dreams! "But... does your mane get all tangle-y all the time? With all that hair..." She studied his mane, wondering how many times he'd gotten brambled and twigs stuck in his mane, and been unable to get them out.

Nywele was the one to laugh this time. He also found the mental image of a lion caught in his mane hilarious. "Well to be honest I think it is something that as a god I naturally do not experience much. I've only ever brushed my mane for fun it's always been clean and tangle free." Nywele could see the dens coming closer and closer he almost hated to drop her off, but he had to. He was so enjoying the conversation with this little one.

Dareia found herself bobbing her head in a vigorous nod. Nywele was a very smart guy, she found; any normal other would have everything stuck in there constantly; always fussing about in a vain attempt to try and clean their mane. But no; Nywele, being the god of manes, was wiser than that - and look at him! He had a beautiful, fluffy, healthy mane to boast. "Well, that makes a lot of sense, I guess," she said with a smile. But that smile disappeared quite quickly when she realized how fast the dens seemed to be approaching them. She didn't want her meeting with the god to end so soon! But, because he was now an official Pad in the pride, that meant she could talk to him whenever, right?

Far to soon were the only feet from Dareia's den. Nywele didn't hide his sigh he found this cub quite interesting and could spend the whole night through talking with her, but it couldn't be. "Well unfortunately it looks like our walk has come to an end. A shame to, anyone who likes the night and appreciates a mane I find good company, future banu Dareia. I'm sure you will make your father proud and some pad very happy. Perhaps we will meet again." Nywele said stopping near the front of her den.

Sadness made a ghost of Dareia's previous smile. It seemed she'd have to put on another charade of going to sleep, but for what? To her, it seemed a waste of the night; to simply walk away from it and enter her den seemed like such a crime to her, it almost made her cringe away from the idea. But Nywele had been so kind to her - almost like a friend to her, something Dareia knew to cherish. And so, with a sigh and a sad smile, Dareia looked up once more to the lion. "Thank you, Nywele," and she smiled once more, though this time it was for real. "I appreciate it - everything. And I'm sure Amani and you will be very happy." With another smile and last flick of her tail, Dareia bid him farewell and ducked into her den. Though, yes, she was quite sad at the prospect of leaving behind the night, as well as the god she'd quickly come to love, she stalked into the den feeling quite happy. She would make a good banu - wouldn't she? She certainly hoped so. With a smile still plastered on her face, she picked her way around the sleeping bodies of her siblings and plopped herself down, resting her chin on her paws. 'Today was good,' was her last thought before she felt a wave of unconsciousness overcome her. If only for a little bit, she willed it on; lids closing heavily, she was soon alseep - bbut not for long.
