Moonlight:
Seems to be a lot of people's reasons.
As klikk said, I don't really get why people start to begin with.
I guess your sister is your anti-drug? xD

lol Yeah actually she is. XD

Opinions on smoking?
It's one of the worst things you can do to your body (regardless of what you're smoking).

Do you smoke?
Hellz no!

Anything?
What? Do I smoke anything? Is that the question? If so: no.

Wow, you guys make me feel awful. xD
I don't smoke cigarettes but I do smoke from time to time,(time to time meaning, maybe once a month.) and I honestly have nothing against it.
It's a person's choice.
(Though I do worry about my friend that craves cigarettes when she's stressed.)

Kiwi:
Ah, I see.
That makes sense, definitely.
I'd probably be against it if that had happened to me too.
Really sucks though. .__.

Black:
Okay.
I thought the smoking in restaurants was a nation-wide thing.
I guess it was something only Nevada decided to do.
(Casinos still reek of smoke anyway)
Do they at least keep smoking and non-smoking sections in restaurants if people are allowed to smoke in them?

Dornkus:
I was trying to include everyone.
Since I know there are other things you can smoke, but I don't know them.
I don't think the guild is a bunch of druggies but you never know who'll pop in.
(Newer members keep randomly doing it and I don't know them.)
PostPosted: Sat Feb 13, 2010 12:38 pm
Sure, there's some like that, but most places just don't bother. I see plenty of people smoking in both sections, too. sweatdrop
I thought it was a nationwide thing, but apparently some places are more worried about it than others...

I guess that's good you've become more tolerant of the smoke.
I find it silly to start smoking too.
I just tried it once to try to understand the appeal of it.
I didn't see it at all.
That really sucks they smoke around their kids though.
Any way of convincing them to stop or at least do it outside?
Apple tobacco?
That sounds interesting.
Is it sweet or something like that?

I'm fairly pleased with my new tolerence :]
Makes it easier too join my sister when she's ahving a smoke and have us some girl talk.
And I knooow. Those kids are going to have some bad lungs.
They ussualy smoke outside or at least next too a window. I'm mostly concerned about the whole chain-smoking-while-pregnant thing.

Apple tobacco tasted faintly like apples. And produced pretty smoke c:
...and ya know, made my grandma high.

I don't judge youuu.
Since I'm pretty much on your side of the it's-you-own-personal-chioce fence.
I know some people who like too smoke pot every now and then,
I have no proplem with that either as long as they don't do it too often.

Most people who smoke crave cicarettes when they are stressed.
Although ironicly it only calms them down since the lack of nicotene was most likely adding too the stress.

Sort like how people who drink coffe and swear it bumps up their energy are only feeling that since their body becomes slightly addicted to the coffein :B
Sorta like me. I can't function properly for long without coffinated soda bevereges.

That's good it makes it easier for you to hang out with your sister too. C:
Yeek, I forgot you said she was chain-smoking while pregnant.
That is scary.

Oh, that sounds nice.
That's kind of amusing too.
(I wonder what my grandma would be like high now)

Aww, thanks. :>
We're on the same page!
/highfive

Is that how it calms them down?
I did not know that.
I learned something new today.
Is that also how caffeine works too?
Guess I better lay off the energy drinks when I'm tired.
I pulled an all nighter last week I sent a friend to get me a Monster and he gave it to me right after I crashed, probably around 10AM, and I basically was running on that the rest of the day.
I was surprisingly awake until I crashed again at 7.

Yes it was rather scary. :c
I mean seriously. Pregnant=No smoking Gad damnit!
I say you get your grandma high and find out
;D

And yes,
if I'm not spouting out complete bullshit without realising it
that is the very simplified version of why coffien and nicotine make you energetic/calmer.

Energy drinks have the oposite effect on me.

A friend ones gave me a energy drink during class ones since I hadnt sleept for two days in a row and I was having trouple focusing.
I drank the thing and 15 minutes later fell asleep,
My friends almost had too carry me out of class and I didnt fully wake up til like..2 classes later.
And further testing has proved that even when I'm well rested and fully awake energy drinks will pretty much knock me out.

Are the kids at least okay for now? D:
Most of the effects that I can list off the top of my head for smoking while pregnant have more to do with the actual birth.
(Miscarriage, placental issues, etc)

I have the perfect plan too!
"Here, it's some new incense. I hear it's great!
You're feeling strange? The incense? No! It's probably your meds or something."

Wow, opposite effect completely.
Energy drinks only work for me when I'm really tired.
When I'm awake and well rested they have little to no effect on me.
I guess if you can't sleep one night that means you can just go out and grab an energy drink. xD

The oldest had some kind of breathing difficulties for a while.
=/
They had to have a small breathing machine thing in the house too help him with occasionaly.
He's alright now though,
and she had like...2 miscarriages.

SHE WILL NEVER SUSPECT A THING!!

I actualy do sometimes go too a nearby shop to get an energy drink
when sleep is having a hissy fit andd wont come visit.
(not often though since the suckers are expensive)

The ckick that ussualy work the night shift asked me about it once thinking I dislike sleeping or something.
I informed her it was just the oposite and I was in fact trying too sleep.

She looked so confused :'3

....Wow.
Maybe she should at least cut down. :/

NEVERRRR

How much are they there?
I know a place near where I live that you can get a Monster for $1.58 which is pretty good consider they're $2+ most other places.

Hahaha, nice.
I can only imagine her confusion.

They should bouth cut down
=/
I just realised I'm making them sound like terrible parents when they arent
;.;

Seriosly. THE PLAN IS GRANNY/FOOLPROOF!

Idunno.
About 300-400 ISL krónur?
and I think at the current exchange rate should be...alot?
I know before my countries currency became borderline worthless
100kr were somewhere around 1 dollar.

Blah.
Most things here are more expensive anyway, it's not exactly the cheapest country too live in.
I remember when I went to the USA when I was a kid,
I got too take with me some money I had saved up
somewhere around 100 dollars or so, and I was just amased at how much I could actualy buy with it compared too back home.

It's okay, I understand. xD;
I'm sure they're fine parents they just have to cut down the smoking.

Next time someone makes a plan I'm totally going to call it grannyproof to see what they say.

I found a converter and
"1 US Dollar = 128.620 Iceland Krona"
It's gone up, I guess.
If that's the conversion then energy drinks there are expensive.
I think most places in Europe compared to the US are more expensive to live in.
That must have been amusing.
You can get some neat stuff for $100.

I don't judge you either.
Everyone can make their own choices. ^^

But about restaurants.
For the ones that separate they usually have one side for smoking and one side for non-smoking.
Particularly I'm thinking of this Chinese restaurant that does it. Though it's good and all it doesn't stop the smoke from coming over to the other end so it's not thaaaat useful.

PS: I think I feel out of the converstation. So many words...I picked up on....

Babies?
Granny proof?
Conversion of money?

What are talking about? XD!!!!

@Zizzy:
Oh yes it was awesome.
...
I bought action figures.
Alot
of 'em.
I cant remember what I did with the rest of it.

I had a weakness for action figures as a child and I still do.
:B

@Moonlight
Dude.
We were obviously talking about if Babies could be made granny-proof
and how much we could charge for that in Canadian dollars,
after which we of course started wondering how much that would be in american $ and Icelandic kronurs.
Totaly.
