digital planes tassan digital planes tassan Every one is responsible for their acts, your family aint going to help you in the end, it will be you who will have to answer god. you should try to pray... I mean just pray once atleast.. then try to pray more often, if people see you, they will start praying as well.. and you will get reward for that as well.. because you made other people pray 3nodding by people I mean the muslims around you. if somebody prays, Allah's blessings are showered upon him along with other more 40 families around him smile the thing is idk how to pray You got any mosque near you? You could ask the imam, if not, I can teach you by showing you videos. there's a mosque in my state, but its not close by. not like we can just get in the car and go cause my mom needs the car for work. so idk teach me please Just punch "how to pray" into Google will get you loads of results you can check them all out and learn that way. This video is an example of how to pray Farj, words and actions, it has more in the series of how to pray your other four and also how too perform Wudu and some basic info on salaat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUww7X7e5QA

That only teaches you how to peform the sunset prayer(Magrib prayer) and also I think you might not be familiar with the Quran, so you have to remember it bit by bit, but untill then you can just do the possitions and do the niyah, and I am sure Allah SWT will accept it with the love you put into it biggrin and after you understand the above, you might want to know more, for that you have to read this and (download)watch thisJust don't panic, and atleast try to go to mosque for friday prayer, and I am sure you will learn a lot from there...

I cant really give an islamicaly correct answer to the subject of some one who does not pray all 5 prayer (my "personal" opinion is that is u pray at least once a day ur a muslim but a bad one)
but the one thing i am sure of is that there is a hadeeth (i will try to find it if u want) that says basically some one who does not pray for 3 day(if he does not have an excuse like being in a coma) after the 3 days he is no longer a muslim.
prayer is so important to allah that he wants u to pray no matter what if u cant stand pray sitting down and if u cant even get up pray with ur eyes BUT U HAVE TO PRAY, i believe that god gave us so many ways to pray to show how important it is and that u should do it no matter what blaugh

digital planes another question: when you pray with your palms together at your chest does that count as prayer? That may count as personal Dua(even then it is normally performed Palms up), but no I do not think it would count at all towards your Obligatory Five Salaat

one thing I felt like mentioning that you are not supposed to see any where else while praying you have to see down front, like where you gonna put your head while bowing...
like if some one calls you, you are not supposed to respond to them, cause you already talking to Allah, and Allah does not like disturbance between his believer and Him heart 4laugh

I used the internet, the vidio i linked you earlier was a really big help, as well as a lot of other websites. I just read and watched vidios and memorised it all(Just like every Muslim before me had to), eventually when I converted I simply asked a Muslim to see if I was doing it all right, he corrected me on some minor issues(posture what to do in Group Salaat etc) and i was fine.
