Domain: Goddess of Canines
Existing Overlapping Domains: God of Animals, Wilddogs (i think thats it)
Physical Description: White in appearance with a gray wolf pelt over top of her head and back. Claws grey and tail tuff/mane silver. Eyes Golden.
Concept:
The Goddess of Canines is all about the care and protection of canine race. Gentle, kind, and loyal she cares for each one of her followers. She has a wildness to her that comes from her wolf instincts. She enjoys howling at her mother moon, she is the mistress of the night.

(more information will be add later on--in the works)
Temporary Powers:
1 - Howling Wind- Piercing sound that can make an animal deaf for 3 days.
2 - Healing lick- with a lick from his tongue he can neutralize a wound.
3 - Poison claw- paralyze prey temporarily for 3 days.
Permanent Power: Shape-shift to a wolf. (can this be allowed? )

Domain: The Cambrian
Existing Overlapping Domains: None that I have found so far, it would be a child domain of Evolution if Evolution comes into being though. Also possibly a child domain of Creation.
Physical Description: Very colorful and strange looking, with features from many different Cambrian beasties.

Notable features include: five eyes, "ears", three tails (1 2 3), a glowing infinity symbol on the forehead that is a bioluminescent organ visible through the skin, and glowing lung-like structures visible through the skin. Wings are actually powerful fins. Will make a color reference later, but she should have dark purples, bioluminescent greens and blues, amber, pink and gold.
Reference!
Concept: The Goddess of the Cambrian is the goddess of the Cambrian Explosion, which was the sudden appearance of varied, complex life forms on Earth. She is very bright, enthusiastic, and inventive, and also somewhat preachy ... about CHANGE! CHANGE is GOOD! She wants everyone to see the possibilities of change and evolution, and doesn't much care about their desires in the matter.
Temporary Powers:
1 - See the possibilities!: Induce temporary hallucinations in a mortal, so that they see the forms of living things in a state of flux and change. Hallucinations would last no more than an hour.
Permanent Power: Can "bless" a mortal so that their children will look nothing like them, their family, or their partner. A sudden shocking variation. This power could be permanent (unless removed by another God; she would never remove such an awesome "blessing") or last for only one litter ... she doesn't have the greatest attention span, after all. It also may be inheritable for up to 3 generations. Just depends on who she decides to curse/bless and how much they annoy/please her.

Domain: Optimism (alternatively Positivity) (alternative alternatively High Spirits)
Existing Overlapping Domains: Happiness, Hope, Faith (depending on powers or the type of Faith implied here -- religious faith, no.), Inspiration, possibly. Encouragement? Really, it all depends on the powers these domains have laid claim to. :3
Physical Description: Concept reference. - her wings should be small and super fluffy.
Concept: Ascension of Liraz. This will not occur until after she reaches adult, I'd just like to get her domain cleared so that I can proceed with plots once she passes away.

Liraz (after her ascension will be known as Kushika-chanya meaning literally 'keep positive') lived the entirety of her life in the Kitwana'antara pride. Known to outsiders as the diseased pride, the lions within are kept secluded so as to refrain from passing the sickness on to others. As a cub Liraz had visions -- her life-changing vision as an adolescent allowed her to see her death and her mate with the litter of cubs she bore just before her death. Despite all this, and despite being a sick girl from the very beginning, her bright eyes and constant smile became well-known to those she came into contact with.

After her ascension Kushika will wander aimlessly before she happens upon the pride again. The bonded familiar she left behind will somehow recognize her (haven't worked all this through yet) and she will remain within the pride, immune to the disease but helping boost spirits as best she can.
Temporary Powers:
1 - Rose Colored Glasses - Kushika can invoke a hallucination that allows the inflicted to feel as if 'things aren't that bad' - used during times when the target's mood takes a dangerous turn for the worst. Once the hallucination wears off, there is a lingering effect that allows them to come to terms with what they've just felt. What happens after the hallucination completely wears off is completely up to the target. Do they go back to their negativity, or do they see things through rose-colored glasses?
2 - Refreshing Aura - Kushika's aura invokes a feeling of general well-being and optimism. There is brightness to be found in the dark, and good can come from any tragedy. Targets must be in the general area of Kushika, and this aura dissipates once she leaves the area. It's a small area, not huge at all, and basically includes only those SoA within her immediate area.
Permanent Power: Look on the Bright Side - This power is rarely, rarely used, and only on those deathly ill. Kushika will completely alter the way that target perceives their life. If they've been looking back at their past with regret and sadness, once being affected by this power they will see things in a whole new light, a more positive light. These effects will last until death.

Domain: New Beginnings (or just beginnings)
Existing Overlapping Domains: Change, possibly Inspiration or Impatience
Physical Description: female adult with fancy butterfly/fairy wings. Possibly wreath of flowers on her head and a sash of cloth with a pretty pattern. Possibly thin chains of gold decoration. Range of blue/purple colors.
Concept: powers that generally work to bless something's beginning; to protect it, make it easier to start, or to be the spark that sets things in motion.
Temporary Powers:
1- smoothing the way: extrudes an aura that makes those in range more amiable to starting something. If not focused on a specific event by the goddess, those affected are meerly prompted to start something they've been meaning or planning to do. Once started, however, the power fades and the individual must finish on their own. Its range is usually her immediate area, but if focused, it can cover up to a full day's travel. This can only last up to three days in its expanded state, and at any level, fades when the goddess leaves. While extended, the goddess must focus her full attention on it. If her concentration breaks, the affected area contracts again, ie: she can't do anything else while doing it. (this is meant to protect an endeavor as its getting started from those who don't want it)
2- hearing the call: the goddess senses when something is about to start. If she focuses on it, she can tell where it is. If ignored, it fades away.
3- n/a
Permanent Power:
The goddess can curse an individual to be forever starting something new. Its a compulsion to begin something that fades once whatever-it-was is under way. Its up to the individual to actual finish any of the things they start, or to let them fall apart again. This can be anything from relationships to making something or starting a journey and is affected by the creature's own inclinations. It doesn't mater what is started, as long as the creature starts it. The goddess has no control over what the creature does, she just provides the driving force. Rest time between these bouts of compulsion can be anywhere from a day or two to longer, depending on the curse. She also can't remove the compulsion, so its rarely used.

Just trying out a concept. I'm open to changing things.

Domain: Speed
Existing Overlapping Domains: I didn’t see really any other than possibly messenger.
Physical Description: Yellow eyes, small set of fangs, black body with dragon/bat like wings. Small horns/nubs on his head, a small fin or two running down his tail. Some sort of beaded/feather jewelry.
Concept: rapidity in moving, going, traveling, proceeding, or performing; elative rapidity in moving, going,
-original concept was from Toothless from How to Train your Dragon however recently he has been custom by someone else so this god will just remain black, skin wings and horns however no other traits like that of Toothless
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
1 - He can travel at an increase speed that at (on foot or flight) periods of time quick enough to almost appear invisible to the naked/normal eye *specifically at night (in day his darker coat is more visible than it is at night however he will not be completely invisible)
2 - Can grant a creature the ability to travel at a quicker speed (effects last for three days). IE: he could give a lion the speed of a cheetah, or a turtle the speed of a cat.
3 - NA
Permanent Power: This can be considered a curse or a blessing depending on what the user feels, he can increase the speed of something of the creature, it can be the speed in which their mouth moves, or their heart, or their speed of running. He cannot however decrease this speed, he can only continue to increase it, if the user feels that their speed has increased too much he cannot decrease it for them. (He cannot change the speed of things that are not in relation to the creature, he can increase body parts however he cannot change something as in the speed of time).

Domain: Lies
Existing Overlapping Domains: Truth, Deception (Already talked to Daf months ago, to boot!), POSSIBLY Trickery
Physical Description: See refs xd ; Jua'taka ascended, pretty much. Cub ref Juve ref Adol ref Adult ref - She'd grow a head tuft as she grew older. Her wings would go from fluffy bird wings as a cub, to draconic wings as an adult, with horns growing from behind her ears. Her expression would be in a constant scowl of anger, and she'd have the items of her mortal life the whole time.
Concept: Hookay... The general concept is that Jua'taka, having felt lied to about a lot of things in her life, sought a god near death to find some truth in life. She found the God of Lies, who... Well... LIED to her. Tired of his immortal life, he promised her an AMAZING life as the Goddess of Happiness(He was, naturally, lying out of his teeth), if she wanted to trade with him, which she did, and... Yup, he'd lied. She found out when she not only came out a cub, but he laughed and told her he'd lied - The domain was Lies.
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
Liar liar - SoA in her presence have a hard time not lying to Jua(Only has a chance of effecting those interacting DIRECTLY with Jua'taka, at other owner's discretion)
Lie detector - If an SoA is telling a lie, Jua will know (Does not require direct interaction with Jua; Other owner determines if this can be used)
Liar for a day - For a period of a day, an SoA has a very strong desire to lie left and right, even if there's no need to lie about something.
Permanent Power: (Please note, this one's actually harder to come up with for her domain than anything xd ; Since it's near impossible to avoid convlicting with Deception's powers)
Little white lie - Curse - The first lie an SoA tells somebody(That's not Jua), regardless of type, will set off a chain reaction where they have to continue to lie in order to help themself. This can end one of a few ways, namely the lie collapses in on itself and the SoA faces the consequences of their trail of lies(Which can also end a number of ways... But it effectively ends the curse), or they find another god to remove the curse and save them from their lies.

Domain: Trust
Existing Overlapping Domains: Betrayal (Polar domain belonging to me), Conscience, Karma, Justice, Loyalty, Truth
Physical Description: It will be a mortal rebirthing as a Goddess.
Kibela will be reborn, with minor changes in her appearance, as well as wings and some bits of jewelry.
Concept: Trust was always very, very important to Kibela. Ever since she was born. Out of trust she left the Pridelands to follow Kidondo to his war and take back his homeland, trust and loyalty lead her to stay at his side as his family, and to slowly make a family of her own. She never trusted many. In the end the God of Betrayal will cause one of her trusted people to end her life, and her anger and spirit will not allow her to move on.
Her powers are meant mostly for the protection of others. I've designed them in such a way to allow her to block out a betrayer, giving the victim time to flee, or retaliate.
--> If you have already figured out powers, this will help us!
--> Submitting powers is usually optional, except for gods with broad or unusual domains.
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
**Note to Powers 1-2 -- If spread over a large group of SoA rather than just one (i.e. A Pride), the effect is very limited. It can last from a few seconds to a few hours varying from SoA.
1 - Hear Me Not - Until removed, or the time has passed, the effected SoA will not be unable to betray another's trust through any verbal means. (Spilling hurtful secrets, telling lies, slander, ect.)
2 - Hurt Me Not - Until removed, or the time has passed, the effected SoA will be unable to betray another's trust through any physical means. (Plans to assassinate, rebellion, murder, ect.)
3 - Trust Me Not - Until removed, or the time has passed, the effected SoA will be marked by Kibela, and seen as a betrayer by all who meet them. Other's will instinctively sense not to put their trust in them and lesser creatures may avoid them altogether.
Permanent Power:
Trust In You -- Power to cause, or force a previously untrustworthy SoA to trust others on instinct, whether they are trustworthy or not, giving them the chance to feel some of the pain they've caused others.
A strong willed SoA may be able to fight back against this power. This changes the effect. Instead of becoming more trusting, they become more trustworthy, felling less desire to betray others.
- It is up the the RPer whether their SoA becomes more trusting, or trustworthy.
- This power may cause SoA to seek to mend relationships between their family/pride/friends/ect.
- If used in counter to one previously cursed by Betrayal they will return to normal.
- While Kibela will usually target SoA who like to betray others, she may still grant this as more of a 'gift' to SoA who have trouble trusting.
- This power remains in effect until removed by Kibela.
- This power can be canceled by other gods with appropriate powers.
- This power can not effect other gods.

Domain: Bloodlust (Uncontrollable desire to maim/kill)
Existing Overlapping Domains: Psychopathy (Could be her parent domain), maybe Demons, The Hunt, and Rage (It's hard to tell when most of them don't have powers up)
My original thoughts - I'm not really sure, to be honest. I suppose Conflict, Rage, Vengeance, and War could, but not too terribly. She's the goddess of the need to kill/maim, with or without a purpose, and Conflict, Vengeance, and War all have purpose and Rage is more intense anger. Those domains could actually be child domains... Maybe.
Physical Description: Not terribly different from her mortal form; styled mane, maybe a different tail type, expression edits, no wings
Concept:
Sierra is based on Sierra Mikain, Tenei/Heroic Star of Suikoden II, holder of the Blue Moon Rune.
In the game, she is the original vampire due to the effects of the rune, though all vampires within a certain range of it do not need to feed on other humans to survive. Working with her character, she is goddess of creatures with an uncontrollable urge to kill or maim, but in her presence it is subdued.
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
1 - After leaving her presence, a mortal is struck with the urge to kill/maim something with little discriminatory control (An individual may go as far as attempting to kill a loved one). This wears off in time, depending on how long they've been around her. Longer exposure means longer lasting bloodlust
2 - If a creature has a very bloodthirsty nature, it is calmed in her presence, but as soon as she leaves it returns, multiplied in intensity. This is because while her presence masked the affect of the bloodlust, it remains in the individual, building up over time. The reason for this is to protect the goddess from the effect of her domain.
3 - X
Permanent Power:
She can purposefully instill bloodlust into a mortal, at higher levels. So it can be from forever taking pleasure at maiming/killing another creature to attempting to maim/kill everything it sees. Kinda like a berserker, only it doesn't effect the creature's original stamina.

Edit - Went ahead and talked it over with Daff, over the possible overlaps with Insanity/Psychopathy and got an okay. Insanity will be her mother, and thus parent domain.

Domain: Helpfulness
Existing Overlapping Domains: Charity, Conscience, Virtue (Questing conflicts would be compassion, and kindness) Obsession might kind of overlap on her permanent power.
Physical Description:
Permadol, pale creams in her coloring, golds in her markings, a smile on her face, tiny little white-feathered wings, feathers or flowers tucked behind an ear, gold bangles on her forepaws, gold tailcuff. Marking would be mainly a CC interpretation from her mortal self, as colored by Kir.
Concept: This goddess is a quiet sweet-natured individual who believes strongly that people exist to help one another. The act of aiding someone who needs it is one that should be instinctive, or so she thinks, and never warrants payment or ‘owed favors’. She has, unfortunately, lost her memory of being a goddess and spends her time in the shape of a mortal, unintentionally influencing some with her powers through conviction of what she feels is right. (ie: “How could you do something like that? She needed your help, you should have helped her!” and in this activate her permanent power).

*** The idea for one of my most heavily RPed SoA to be a ‘sleeping’ goddess amused me too much to simply pass it up without trying. She does have ten RPs to use for ‘conversion’ but she’s not dying, she has just been utterly unaware of her heritage and lives life as a mortal with zero suspicion as to her godhood. I understand if this is too bizarre to be allowed, I just thought it would be worth it to try. Please feel free to PM me if you'd at least be willing to discuss this, I know it usually goes the other way round as far as gods/mortal forms go. As I said, I'd be happy to follow the rules for a mortal rebirth in submitting RPs and all, just not kill her off.

Temporary Powers:
1 – The ability to know if someone she is in contact with, nearby to, needs help.
2 – The ability to know what sort of help said individual needs most at that moment.
3 – no third
Permanent Power: She can inspire within a mortal the desire to help another. This can be something like looking after a specific individual for the rest of their life, or simply being more open to lending a helping hand when an individual used to be utterly selfish. The former is more likely in a case of someone attacking and badly wounding another (blinding, maiming) and being forced to take responsibility for their cruel actions. She cannot totally recreate feelings or emotions, only give a sort of compulsion to stay and help. Any emotional attachments that do come into being while under that compulsion would be purely due to time’s influence, not hers.

Domain: Protection
Existing Overlapping Domains: Guards, Saviors and Sanctuary. (Saviors could actually be a parent god, or vice-versa) Maybe Camoflage and Oaths, due to her powers.
Physical Description: Straight, yet layered, blue mane of hair on her head, black nose, blue eyes and longer (pointed) ear tips. Straps going around her chest that are attached together at the front by a silver heart-shaped badge. Small bits of armor on her arms and back paws, and white "sleeves" on her arms. White and blue fabric wrapped around her waist. Fur color will consist of black, dark blue and pale (skin) colors and will probably be pretty basic and look Lion King-ish. Wings will be big with armor bits on them as well, but I haven't decided if I want them fluffy or like this. Tail will be longer with armor that resembles this and possibly blue tail fluff. (or it will look more like a domestic cat's tail)
Concept: A goddess who specializes in the defense of others. She is fiercely protective of those in need, yet very hostile towards those who harm them. She's one of those nice, fun-loving people... but mess with someone she cares about, and she'll rip you to shreads. However, she aims more towards defenseive tactics, which means blocking and, if needs be, running/dodging. Essentially, she specializes in shielding others.
Another thing, she's Aqua from KH:BBS, so she would be a cosplay. Protection was already one of the domains I had been considering, and while I was playing the game, I put two-and-two together, and realized that it actually worked out pretty well. The personality fits perfectly (always running around trying to save people), and she specializes in defense. She is, through and through, a guardian of the things that matter most.
Temporary Powers:
1 - Barrier: Defensive ability where she can conjour an impenetrably shield around an object, be it herself or something else. It will usually fade away fairly quickly, but can be activated repeatedly without much effort on her part. The size of the shield and the time it lasts will likely depend on what stage I get her in. (i.e. cub = small shield for only a few seconds; adult = large shield for a few minutes)
2 - Ghost Drive: Attacking ability, during which she can teleport and strike rapidly at the threat. This will last only for as long as she is continually attacking (it will fade if she were to stop for any reason) and can only be used once or twice within a 24 hour period.
3 - Defender: She can sense when there is someone currently in need of aid within a certain distance of her person. This is often activated without her meaning it to, and sometimes without her even noticing.
Permanent Power: Wayfinder - An ultimate form of protection, in which the person is essentially "blessed". A connection is formed between her and the one she's using this on. She will always know their status and, when they are in dire need of aid, location. To add to this, a shield exists around them almost constantly, which guards them from harm. So, should they need it, she can protect them. The problem is that this also includes any other interaction he/she might have. For example, a loved one would be barred from going near them due to the shield. Typically speaking, she will use this power sparingly, because of the effect it has on her own person. It takes a tole on her health, gradually wearing her out more and more until she (and, in turn, the power itself) finally collapses and she ends up unconcious for a while. So, it stands to reason that this can be retracted by either another god or, should they prove to no longer need it/take advantage of it, herself.

Note: If this concept is a little too close to one of the overlapping domains, let me know and I'll try to tweak it more. <3

Changing my current quest for Perseverance over to a rebirth of one of my mortal SoA.

Domain: Perseverance
Existing Overlapping Domains: Mind, Strength, Hope, Duty, Determination, possibly Obsession
Physical Description: Very similar in appearance to her mortal form, including scars. Eyes start out orange-amber, and become blue as she grows, starting from the outside edges of the iris. She now has a pair of large wings with a structure very similar to those of a bar-tailed godwit, but with makings that would fit her coat pattern better, in her crimson, black, and gold. Her jewelry would be the same as that which her current mortal form wears, minus the necklace and gold bracelet.
Concept: A goddess who helps one strive for a goal, despite the obstacles. Rebirth of the mortal Hakuna'jina.
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
1 - Stoke the Fire: Hakuna can 'encourage' someone to keep going towards their goal, like an empathic 'push in the right direction'. Her 'encouragement' only lasts while she is there, but the after-effects can often make a difference...
2 - Water off my Back: She can 'shield' someone from the more hurtful things people say while pursuing their goal. She has to be in the area, and often shelters them under a wing as a physical representation that they're under her protection.
3 - Second Wind: Hakuna can grant someone mental or physical strength if they have used theirs up in pursuing their goal (however she has to approve of said goal). This is NOT permanent, and only lasts for 2-3 days AT MOST. After the effects fade, the receiver has to rest, or else do a great deal of damage to themselves as they HAVE overextended themselves.
Permanent Power: Never Rest: Used as a curse, Hakuna can induce a very specific sort of stubbornness in a creature. She can make it so that once they set their mind on something, they CANNOT give up on it. This can only be lifted IF they accomplish that something. Those who set their mind on something impossible, however...are doomed.

Domain: Voodoo
Existing Overlapping Domains: Occult (possible opposite domain: white magic)
Physical Description: (basic smile
~Eye color: Palest blue, slightly glowing
~Body color/Patterns/etc: Rich black (with some kind of subtle (black on black)texture/marking like scales/creepy tattoo pattern, with aztec-styled bone markings in white over the base (see ref).
~Mane/hair: Long, silky, thick and tangled with bones caught within, some parts braided and strung with beads. Pure white (pale blue shadows).
~ Wings: Feathered bird wings (thick and fluffy), Semi-open. Black base. Maybe some white designs, up to colourist. Accessories like small rings and cuffs and chains, to match main style.
~Tail: Full, furry leopard-like tail.
~ Accessories: Aztec and voodoo themed accessories. (eg necklace, bracers/bracelets, earings, ankle/leg cuffs). The top part of her tail is contained within a gold 'cuff' and lower down on her tail are gold bangles and a looped chain. Her ears are pierced with the claws and fangs of various animals. She has a pouch-bag slung across her shoulder/chest for her collection of creepy items. Possibly a cloth drape of some kind? - Artist license. X3
Concept: Cosplay of an OC
Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]
1 – Bad Luck: Curse someone to have bad luck for 2-3 days (minor eg, falling over a log, higher failure rate in hunting)
2 – Poltergeist: A curse that causes the immediate habitat around the cursed lion to shift. Branches/rocks falling when the soa is near, grass rustling when they try and hunt, disruptive things that will be annoying though nothing like a huge rock that would kill the soa, just things that would make its life uncomfortable. Lasts for 2-3 days (minor)
3 – Spirit Sight: Causes the soa to think they see ghosts and ghouls. Lasts for 2-3 days
Permanent Power: 'Tainted' - Curses the soa to be haunted, poltergeist-like movement of their immediate surroundings, imaginings the apparition of ghosts/spirits. Anyone who comes into contact with the cursed soa receives bad luck for as long as they stay close. As soon as they leave, the effect dissipates. Lasts the soa's life time from the moment of cursing.

Domain: Comfort
Existing Overlapping Domains: Empathy, Hope, Healing, Love, Peace, Sanctuary all seem like they relate to Comfort in some way.
Physical Description: Soft and/or rich browns. Swirled markings in a contrasting bright color. Flower in her longish, curly hair, some sort of soft fabric drape, gold jewelry, maybe a windchime somewhere? Wide, welcoming wings. Very much CC on how to incorperate these vague ideas.
Concept: In times of trouble, comfort is much desired and appreciated. She would be a boon to the weary, the worn, the distressed, and the suffering. Comfort is a way to succor them, though comfort itself does not solve any problems or right any wrongs unto itself. It merely is a way to gain strength to press on, or to let go.
Temporary Powers: These are working concepts, and are not necessarily meant to be final products.
1 - Restful Aura - A general feeling of well-being while within 10 feet of her. This is a passive ability that relies on the affected individuals being willing to be comforted. Should the affected individuals not desire comfort, the effect is nullified.
2 - Creature Comforts - A spell that summons a single food or sound from the target's memory that they consider comforting. Lasts for a maximum of ten minutes. It will NOT summon voices, cooked or man-made foods, or anything that is not from a fond memory of the target. This requires the willing participation of the target, otherwise the summoned sound or food will disappear immediately. Only the targeted individual and the goddess will hear or see/touch/smell/eat what is summoned. A maximum of three individuals may be affected by this spell at the same time (though each individually).
3 - Brief Respite - The removal of the feeling of discomfort by the dulling of sensations or distracting the thoughts of the mind of the target. This does not require consent of the target, but only lasts three to five minutes. (Uncertain whether this is a type of stun/hypnosis effect, or a lulling/illusion effect. Needs fleshing out.) Only one individual can be affected at a time.
Permanent Power: Blessing of Comfort
Target will no longer be discomforted by small, bothersome sensations. Things like damp fur, an insect bite, or laying on a rough and uneven surfce will no longer distract or distress the individual. Such physical sensations are still felt and acknowledged by the target, so that appropriate action can be taken as necessary. This is not a numbing or stunning. It changes the perception of sensations. Even though the effect is permenant (until otherwise removed), it can be nulled. Should a sensation be intense enough, the perception of the individual will return to normal. For example, one bee sting might pinch a little, but would otherwise be much more bearable than normal. However, many bee stings would be as painful as it would be for an unblessed individual, with the pain and discomfort unmuted. Due to the permanency of the blessing, it requires the consent of the target individual. This blessing takes a severe toll on her strength, so that the permenant power can only be used once in the OOC timespan of two months. Her temporary powers are also sapped, so that her Restful Aura requires physical touch, and Creature Cmoforts and Brief Respite cannot be cast, lasting an OOC period of two weeks.

Domain: Southern Cross
Existing Overlapping Domains: Comets, Stars, Navigation, Night, The Lost. (Not sure of all their powers, but I listed any I thought might overlap even a small amount.)
Physical Description:Ref Image Black base, white underbelly, copper mane, red eyes, and 'star pattern' across pelt with the Hindi stylized Southern Cross on his flank.
Concept: The Southern Cross is unique to Southern Africa and the Southern hemisphere. Its been used in lore and myths. This concept is based on the lore of the native peoples of Africa and their relationship with the Southern Cross. It is very specific for those myths and how the native African people deal with , and use this, set of stars. As with any Rp concept there is some interpretation involved and creative license.

Temporary Powers: [Up to three. Be very specific with what they can do/can't do.]

1 – Southern Points- Acrux can manifest a ethereal lion that will lead a lost creature to Celestial South, or to Polar South, the directions the Southern Cross points to. (The stars Acrux and Gacrux) or South East, the direction the longer end stops at. ( The stars Alpha Centauri and Beta Centauri) It can not guide them in any other direction and once they reach their destination ( no longer then 3 days) the ethereal guide returns to Acrux. * see foot note one*

2 – Arcux's Brilliance-Acrux may bestow a moonstone to an animal that holds the brilliance of Arcux the brightest star in the Southern Cross. For three uses it will produce a blue-white light that that has a ten foot radius. It may be used as a light source, or to blind another if shone in their eyes, or as a beacon to call or warn others, or whatever use the animal may have for it. It is the light of a star, so it produces no warmth, but it is a steady glow that will not waver, and can not be put out by mortal means. * foot note two *

3 – Old Bag of the Night- As with the moonstone, Acrux may bestow a piece of obsidian to an animal that holds the darkness of the Coal Sack Nebula that is part of the Southern Cross constellation. For three uses it will produce a deep, impenetrable darkness for a radius of five feet. It may be used to hide, to confuse another animal, or whatever use the animal may have for it. It is the dark of a Nebula, so it is complete darkness and mortal light can not penetrate it, and it can not be put out by mortal means. * see foot note three *

Permanent Power: -Mura's Menace- Acrux may bestow on a mortal the gift of his gaze. It is used only as a defensive ability. With this 'gift' a mortal may end an attack on them or another victim by meeting the attackers eyes. Their gaze must be held. It literally causes them feel physical, crippling pain. It may only be used once in a moon's cycle, and only if the mortal is attacked first without provocation. Acrux RARELY bestows this gift. If he does it is to an animal who has shown to be a protector of those weaker than themselves, or of the innocent, or has shown some kind of selflessness. It may not be dispelled by mortal means. * see foot note four *

One-

From the top of the cross Gacrux(gamma crucis) trace a line south to Acrux (alpha crucis) and continue about 4.5 times that distance and you will get near the celestial south pole.

The two stars of Alpha and Beta Centauri are often referred to as the "Southern Pointers" or just "The Pointers", allowing people to easily find the asterism of the Southern Cross or the constellation of Crux.

The /Xam Bushmen saw the two Pointers as male lions; they were once men, but a magical girl turned them into stars. The three brightest stars of the Southern Cross they saw to be female lions. ( this is where the idea of the ethereal lion guide stems from)

Two-

With five bright main stars, alpha, beta, gamma, delta and epsilon crucis, Crux is highly visible.

All five of those stars are magnitude 3.6 or brighter and within 365 light years of Earth. (both of these facts lend to the idea of providing a brilliant light)

Three-
One of the better features in the constellation Crux is the coalsack nebula. A dark patch in the southern Milky Way visible to the naked eye.

The Coal Sack, a large dark nebula near the Southern Cross, is known as the "Old Bag of the Night" to the Nyae Nyae !Kung Bushmen. It is thought to be true darkness where not even the light of the heaven can shine. ( these lead to the idea of a darkness)

Four
To the Khoikhoi, the Pointers were known as Mura, “The Eyes”, of some great celestial beast.

Eyes in native myth have the ability to protect, and ward of danger or evil. (lending to the idea of his gaze)

All powers are up to the discretion of the SoA Gods and are welcomed to be changed, tweeked, or rewritten if need be so as not to compromise another god's domain. He has a plot within the KA to fall in love with a mortal who will die of their disease, but only after he has lived with her as a mortal and not a god. It should be tragically Epic. XD
