Rakaeba growled and tore himself from under his fathers strong, sharp claws. Turning abruptly he watched the older male, his keen eyes tracking him with a sheer, brilliant intensity that could send a shiver coursing the spine. His tail remaining frigid, his nose scenting the air once, testing the waters. The wait made him yearn more for the right moment to attack, he could feel the urge to fight streaming through him powerfull and moving his paws, settling upon the ground as he watched. His skin ached where the damage was inflicted. The moonlight streaming down in strength.

Gould smiled, hsi son was strong, thatw as good he admired the boy for his gaul. He howled again getting ready for another strike his eyes wide and brilliant as he listened to the moons call for him to attack. He would never give up that easily his son, his image, must know that.

Patience, he was learning that lesson now. His glinting eyes watching the larger, battle-worn male in the darkness. If he thought he was going to get out of this in experience he'd have to think again. Stamina was on his side as well as intelligence as he had a knack for being clever minded. Hearing the howl of victory only made his growl strengthen. His ears flickered and he moved across the snow on silent paws.

With a ferocious snarl he tore forth after his father, seeing the opportunity had come. His claws unshiethed swiftly and he lowered his body before springing. Hit claws aimed for the larger males ribcage as the moonsong seeped through his veins. The light glinting of his lengthy claws.

[Syrius Lionwing]

Gould smiled, he wasn't beaten that easily, he was an old hand at this game of cat and mouse. His sons first hit. He would remember it forever he was sure of that, perhaps another scar would be added to his body mass. He recovered quickly from the assult, circling the younger male once again as he dashed away. The smile on his maw wasn't one of rage, or even mokery, he was proud of his son, this dance was sacred he knew the way it worked, one walekd away as alpha the other as an invisable ghost. who knew which one of them would survive? His tail flickered as he readied for another pounce.

Rakaeba moved off a bit, gaining his footing and clicking his claws against the hard winter earth. His tail, still, the fur along his spine risen in a trail along his back. He could hear movement in the bushes and knew the family had arrived. Yet his attention remained upon Gould, his opponent. He wasn't going to get himself killed because he was staring numbly off into the forest. Feeling the whispering wind course itself across the circled the glint in his icy eyes was made known before he gave a low growl and readied himself.

[Syrius Lionwing]

Gould's silky movements made him seem like the shadow he had always been, he could vanish in an instant at times, when the moon sat right in the sky, when it made his coat invisable in the snow. He was good at what he did. He let a deep breath form from his lips. This dance must continue.

Rakaeba watched the light play carefully, not wishing to lose track of his father and leave himself vulnerable. Rakaeba was a mix of icy blue and white, the blue stripe across his face gave him a rather rogue appearance, a wild appearance. The ghost wolf stepped carefully, silently, awaiting his turn to strike.

Gould watched his son quietly. It made him a little sad to see his own youngster walking this path. He wished to see the boy explore the world. That was the easy way out though, wasn't it? Yes. His ears flattened tightly against his head and a low growl echoed from his chest.
