Gohan and Trunks of course and without any doubt. For several reasons

#1 Goten and Trunks only exist in a very small part of DBZ, we see them as grown up for what? Two episodes.

#2 Gohan/Trunks has so much more variety than Goten/Trunks. because when you like truten you like one pairing. With Gohan/Trunks you've three pairings for the price of one : Gohan/Trunks, Gohan/Future Trunks, Future Gohan/Future Trunks.

#3 Gohan/Trunks also exists where Goten/Trunks cannot. If you take Gohan/Future Trunks Goten isn't born yet. If you take Future Gohan/Future Trunks then Goten was never born.

#4 Each variety has its unique flavor due to different universe setting and personalities. Gohan and Future Gohan though similar are different, with Gohan being kinder while Future Gohan has the bad a** attitute. Future Trunks is kind and altruistic, while Trunks is more mischievious.

#5 Though each variety is different they all have powerful dynamic.

Goten/Trunks is friendship based, and we know in real life we seldom marry our best friend, but there's plenty of case where your best friend marries your brother, sister or cousin. You even have that in books, where Harry Potter get married with his best friend sister. wink

Gohan/Trunks : You've sleeping water with mischief. A good combo, because Gohan and Trunks matches each other both on physical and intellectual level. And we know strenght or intelect are something saiyans find attractive (Goku marrying Chichi because she's the strongest woman, Vegeta with Bulma because she's the smartest). Also I believe Trunks can shake and tease Gohan enough to wake up his wild side, while Gohan calm behavior can have positive influence on Trunks mischievious attitude.

Gohan/Mirai Trunks : You've two warriors who've been through too many hardship and saw too much horrible stuff. That's quite a sappy and cute combo, with Trunks willing to protect and pamper Gohan, and Gohan being able to heal Trunks emotional wounds.

Future Gohan/Future Trunks : You've drama, angst, romance and cuteness. They're almost Romeo and Juliet, with Gohan meaning the world to Trunks. Gohan is like an elder brother, a substitute father, a role model, a teacher, a hero and a friend. Those two together can forge the strongest bond ever made. A bond that can resist any hardship, with them willing to sacrifice each other for the other sake. I can't forget the senzu bean scene, nor how they tried to protect each other.

#6 It's the sole pairing which allows you the best threesome ever. Trunks/Gohan/Future Trunks. Oh la la so much Trunks goodness with the infamous Trunks sandwich.

For all those reasons (variety, character development, compatibilies) I see Gohan/Trunks as being more interesting than Goten/Trunks.

But then as I pointed out you can have both at the same time like Gohan/Future Trunks and Trunks/Goten. Or you can even go for hot threesome Goten/Trunks/Gohan.
