I meant the basic idea of the whole unit resting on top of the shoulder.
Oh. Wouldn't that be too unwieldy for the type of combat a shotgun sees?
Yeah you don't know me too well. When I make statements like that I'm usually being a smart a**.
Or I can call it a rocket propelled shotgun and have this entered into the hall of gun noobery.

This is one of my designs for a GPMG. I sorta based it off of the MG42, but the parts are kind of limited in the original version.

Variola Major
We're a military force with a strength of about 1.5 million. As for why to bother with the obscure 9x23, I didn't know there was such around until I shared my ideas with Fresnel and he told me about it. As for 6.5, again, that's pretty obscure, and I didn't know of it until I looked it up just now. I was just going for what sounded good. Then again, you can find a real round for most stuff you think up, methinks.
I was looking up the bullets to see what they were without realizing that you were just making up numbers. For the rest of you though, there are three different 9x23mm rounds. One was early cartridge era, one was big in competition until .38 Super (I think) killed it, and the last was better known as 9mm Largo.

Except for the shroud, it all looks like a G36, ACR, and M240 to me.
