Ok. Since I already knew that one of them is replaced that makes it simple. As I draw I card I say that it is my choice. Then I rip it up. Next I take the other card and show it to the magistrate. The other must be the life card right? The only thing left to do is live and laugh at the idiot who messed with me.

You got it. Nice.
Geez, I really got to find one to stump you...

Ok, let's try this one:
There are 20 people in an empty, square room. Each person has full sight of the entire room and everyone in it without turning his head or body, or moving in any way (other than the eyes). Where can you place an apple so that all but one person can see it?

Yep. Ugh, you're too good at these!
X3

Ok, you forced me! This one may take some time, and maybe a paper and pencil...

There are 5 houses each with a different color. Their owners, each with a unique heritage, drinks a certain type of beverage, smokes a certain brand of cigarette, and keeps a certain variety of pet. None of the owners have the same variety of pet, smoke the same brand of cigarette or drink the same beverage.

Clues:

- The Brit lives in the red house.
- The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
- The Dane drinks tea.
- Looking from in front, the green house is just to the left of the white house.
- The green house's owner drinks coffee.
- The person who smokes Pall Malls raises birds.
- The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
- The man living in the center house drinks milk.
- The Norwegian lives in the leftmost house.
- The man who smokes Blends lives next to the one who keeps cats.
- The man who keeps a horse lives next to the man who smokes Dunhill.
- The owner who smokes Bluemasters also drinks beer.
- The German smokes Prince.
- The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
- The man who smokes Blends has a neighbor who drinks water.

Who owns the pet fish?

If you put a coin in an empty bottle and insert a cork into the neck of the bottle, how could you remove the coin without taking the cork out or breaking the bottle?

Sorry. Unless I've heard riddles before or they seem easy enough I always ask questions.
1.) What kind of bottle is it?
2.)What kind of coin is in it?
3.)Does the bottle have any kind of hole in it?
4.) Is it important that it's empty?
5.) Is the neck the small opening?
6.) can I use tools, or is one bit of damage considered breaking?

Until I can get the answer to these, do you push the cork into the bottle with the coin and shake it out? This way, you never removed the cork and nothing is damaged, but the cork.

You're too good.

If an electric train is going south at 90mph, and the wind is blowing north at 90mph, which direction does the steam go in?

This is an easy one that I know you've heard so give other people a chance.

Do electric trains even release steam?
PostPosted: Sun Mar 28, 2010 6:22 pm
Nope, thats the point biggrin

I told this one to Evan earlier
A boat crashes on a deserted island, one man wakes up(man 1) next to a man standing next to him (man 2) and the rest of the crew is gone. Realizing that they had no food the other man (man 2) says "wait here I know how to make a good clam chowder, so he goes into the jungle and comes back that night with clam chowder for both of them. this continues for several days until they are rescued. Man 1 feeling hungry after retuning to the mainland goes to a restaurant and orders clam chowder for old times sake. after a few bites he realizes something, and with a shocked expression on his face he runs out into the street and jumps in front of a car and dies. Why did he kill himself?

(wow it sounds so easy now)

"clam chowder" that man 2 had made was actually the rest of the crew?
