Roleplay Suggestions

I know this is gonna sound kind of stupid, but what are roleplays? Are they like skits and, well, plays?

it pretty much is like a skit i suppose you could call it xD

it's like writing a story with dialogue and conflict but at the same time it's improvising because one person will act as one person and say stuff like

Yoona walks into the room puzzled to see that the room was filled with balloons. "I wonder who put these here?" Yoona asks herself.

(but it would probably be way long than that) and then another person in the roleplay will have to like go along with what they said and continue the story talking from their persons point of view

Just as shocked as Yoona, Yuri walks up to the balloons and stares at them intently.

something along those lines xDDD idk i've never actually done a roleplay myself or really read any, but they go something along the lines like that.
