[ORP]Settling In (Tarina)[FIN]

Even though the lioness was moving slow the cubs were too, their little legs could only carry them so far they looked back though and decided that they should slow down a little themselves but still competing with each other. They giggled and laughed and stumbled here and there on their young clumsy paws. They got closer and closer before turning around and grinning at the older female. "A snail taught you!?" They asked as then looked at the lioness with a grin on her face.

Vevilla wandered over to the older lioness and shook her head. "No silly!" She giggled again and pawed at the lioness. "You have to stand up to do this." she nodded before stretching her paws out a little more. "It's just like walking but... you move faster like this!" She giggled again and started to run quickly before running back to the lioness. "See?"

She nodded very seriously. "Well, certainly. Didn't a snail teach you to run, also?"

Her eyes glinted with amusement. What fun!

As Vevilla made her way over she assumed a serious expression, tongue poking through her lips in concentration. She rose up to her paws, unsteadily, as though she'd forgotten how to do so, and then took a long, exaggerated step, then another. Within moments she was...sort of running, in a high-paw-stepping prancing sort of way. "Is this better?"

Kirja couldn't help but to giggle a little bit at the lioness before she covered her maw. Her mother always told her not to laugh at other lions. She felt rude she knew that she wasn't supposed to laugh at people. She knew that is wasn't good to laugh at people. She looked away for a few seconds before looking at her niece waiting to see what the lioness was going to say.

Vevilla giggled as she looked at the lioness she wasn't taught the same kind of manners but she could say that it was true. "You're getting there! You just need to go a little faster!" She giggled some nodding at the female again then she nodded at the lioness and then sped up some herself then smiled at the lioness as she got closer.

Kirja looked at the sun for a moment then blinked a few more times and huffed a little turning toward the lioness and then turned away and then back at her niece. "Vevi!" She called out before nodding at the lioness once again. "My mama said we had to start heading home around now!"

Tarina grinned. She caught Kirja's attempts to look reserved in the corner of her eye, and they amused her muchly. She was a storyteller, yes, but also, at times, a clown.

She circled around, showing off her high-paw-stepping run -- before, at the last moment, breaking into a real lope, running at the girls. She skidded to a stop just before plowing into them, and regarding them both with utmost solemnity. "Thank you, young debutantes," she said, "For your most helpful instruction."

Then a grin spread back across her maw and she batted at Vevilla's rump with a large orange-banded paw. "Now be off, both of you...and tell your family I said hello."

She watched after them as they left, something soft and very fond in her eyes. This was why she was glad to be back home. Above everything else -- bringing laughter to children, was one thing she had desperately missed in her time away with the others.

Kirja looked up at the lioness with the grin on her face and she nodded, she was a little worried at first concerned if the lioness was going to run into her. But she shrugged it off the lioness doesn't run into them. This made her happy. "You're welcome ma'am!" They both chirped to the larger lioness before getting to their feet.

Vevilla giggled at the lioness as Kirja trotted forward some. "Okay" She couldn't help but to giggle some before she started to trot away, happy that she got to run into the lioness. She enjoyed company like that.

"Come on Vevi!" Kirja called out as the both of them trotted away to their homes.
