Metarded Quixotic Faye And I think the fact that the image of Pete blinking in the beginning is a Fight Club reference, which explains the two facets of the same guy. Plus, at the end of Fight Club, the narrator shoots his alternate personality, Tyler, which means in effect, he shot himself. That's what seems to be happening at the end. Yeah, Fight Club was my favorite movie for a while. I should watch it again... it's been a while. Tell us what happens with the card.

I walked around with it hanging out of my jacket pocket and this one person started a conversation with me.
Random person: Why are you carrying around a card?
Me: Cause its fun.
Random Person: How?
Me: I dunno.
Random Person: Whatever.
Me: FINE!I'll tell you.My uncle Pete died and he always played Hearts with me so thats why im carrying the card.
Random Person: Oh im so sorry...
Me: Its ok...*bell rings*
Random Person: See ya around!
Me: You too...
Hehehe.That was pointless.Im gonna make it into a necklace someday.That would be fun. biggrin

Has anyone ever noticed,that in the beginning when the Thromaniac is supposedly and pete throws the card on him,He winces when the card lands?

Im not really sure what I think about it. I definitely think it has to do with two personalities. And that everyone has a good and bad side. The Queen of Hearts to me sort of signified love. Considering it was a heart. And that no matter what there was always going to be a connection between the two. (Pete and Patrick.) And that's why, when Pete 'killed' Patrick, Pete also died too.

I love how a conversation about a music video turns into sharing of theories on the symbolic meanings and multiple layers behind the Queen of Hearts card and the concepts of two being seperate yet one. 3nodding

Okay. So here is MY theory. *gets out podium*
Right. So Patrick and Pete are, in effect, the same person. Note that the car they're driving in is the same.
The card, I can't really tell you much about WHY it's the QoH. What I can say is, yes, that's the killer's calling card. Also, the killer never really kills anyone in a bloody fashion, so it seems he knows he's Patrick's alternate and doesn't want him to know he's doing the killings. OR Patrick created Pete to carry out these killings and feel less guilt because he could say "Oh, it was Pete, not me."
As for the two sides of the coin theory. It is that Fight Club kinda thing. BUT... I think that Patrick knew Pete was coming after him because he found all those cards in the car. So he planted a QoH on himself and then Pete found it and realized that by killing Patrick, he's killed himself. The reason they're wearing those clothes is simple: those are Trick's work clothes and since they're the same person, it's also what Pete wears. As for the performance shots, this is just Peter being ******** weird again. Ask him why and he will tell you that it's Viva La Revolucion. Thus ends Mandy's rant. I might come up with something more later.

i've seen the video but what cracks me up is when pete shoots patrick if you look closely you can see that it isn't even a fake gun it's his fingers

Hmmm... I think it's like the Queen of Hearts represents girl problems??? And Pete and Patrick are both experiencing those problems. Like at the end, Pete touches the card and died... I don't know. *shrugs* But it's an interesting video. I love that song!
