Diagon Alley

Ollivander smiled at the girl and then her father, "Very well, good luck." Allie stood looking out the window waiting for her escort who was supposed to have been back by now.

Alexis and her father walked to the door. She noticed the girl. She had never met another witch her age. All the kids at her school were muggles. "Hi," she said as she neared the door.

Allie turned to face the girl, and smiled softly, "Hi, are you going to school too?"

"Yeah," she said. "I'm Alexis."

"I'm Allie, Allie Lighstone." She said. "Do you mind if I walk around with you? My escort has disappeared.."

"Okay. Is that alright with you Dad?" Alexis asked.
"Sure," he replied, happy that her daughter was making a new friend.
"Do you have any more school supplies to get?" Alexis asked.

Allie pulled out her list, realizing the only thing that she had crossed off was her wand, "Um, everything..." she sighed.

"Well why don't we go to Flourish and Blotts so you two can get your books?" Alexis' dad suggested.
"That sounds good to me," she said.

"Ok, thank you." Allie said putting her wawnd back in it's case. She marveled at the busy market when they stepped outside. "I still can't really believe this is all real." Allie murmured.

They walked down the street and soon reached Flourish and Blotts. "Okay so I'll let you two find your books. I'll be right over there if you need me," Alexis' dad said pointing to a bookshelf.
Alexis took out the letter she had gotten with all the supplies she needed. "Come on Allie. Let's go find these books."

"Ok let's.." she said stepping up to the bookcase. She found two of the books they needed and handed a pair to Alexis.

"Thanks," she said. She walked towards another bookcase and found another book they needed. She grabbed two copies and put one in her basket and gave the other to Allie.

As they slowly found th rest of their books Allie asked Alexis questions, never letting on that she was raised in a muggle orphanage, and had no idea about any of this. "So did your dad go to this...uh...school. He seems really nice."

Kai walked into Flourish and Botts and she bumped into two girls, that looked to be about her age. "Sorry I didn't see you there." She said giving them a small smile.

"Yeah his entire family went to Hogwarts as well," Alexis answered.

She felt someone bump into her. "That's okay," she said to the girl who had bumped into them.
