"If they're so annoying why not put them in their place." It couldn't be -that- hard to get a group of the leaders to put any rabble on their backs. Could it?
It didn't seem that way to her even if she hadn't really ever tried.

"Eh," he grunted, waving a paw in the air. "Sometimes its better to just let them get it out of their system. They know who the real leaders are, and when it gets dirty, they'll listen. Otherwise they get their a** handed to them, so they have to listen next time." He hadn't quite beat Mbezi like that, but it didn't hurt to flounce it up a bit. He had won, anyway, and even if the little brat bugged him, he knew what would happen if Tuk told him to stop.
Strange, since Tuk usually didn't have to be assertive. It was must easier just being lazy and letting everyone else do the worl. Oh well.
"Once you've beaten them, it's just giving them a look to make them stop."

"Fron the way you were talking it sounded like tey were brats despite the beating." She grinned at him. "Sounds like everyone's lazy and could do with something to keep their minds occupied too."
Lazy usually meant things went bad or things died.

Tuk shrugged. "We've been lazy for a while. It works, somewhat. Gotta get things going, though, otherwise we're just gunna rot in this graveyard outselves."
He didn't really want that, but he wasn't as young as Mbezi was. That boy needed to find a girl to keep him occupied though, that was certain. Then he'd probably stop being a jerk and start taking himself seriously.
Feh.
"Just gotta liven it up here a bit, hm? With someone a bit new, that might help."

"That why you were so eager to get me here?" SHe shifted so she could nudge his shoulder with a grin. "So i could liven things up?"
She'd always thought she was rather good at making things interesting. Even if the others around her didn't always call it that

He shrugged, but grinned. "Get's kind of old looking at the same faces, moon after moon. Besides, it's not like I'm gunna hold you here. You can wander off, go where you like. We're pretty relaxed." Well, maybe they'd need to tighten up in the future, but he wouldn't worry about that. Someone else could.
"Besides, can't complain about having a place to sleep every night, eh?" That was the one perk to this place. He liked not having to find a new place to camp every night. As long as no one tried to take his skull, anyway.

"True." She could see that. Looking at her family each and every day had gotten really boring after a while. IT was kinda nice to see new faces even if she didn't know them.
At the second comment she laughed. "No. Can't complain abou tthat. Better than sleepin out in the open"

Tukutu nodded. "Especially when the rain starts to come." Always hard to find a spot when caught out in the rain, and he knew how that was. Sometimes he'd go off for a couple days trying to find new members, or just escape the graveyard for a short while. Being rained on sucked.
"Time to crash, perhaps?" he glanced at the skull. "Or, well, make your new bed with the pelts you've got there." He nodded, since he didn't want to overextend his visit. She was fine, he didn't have much to worry about, so he didn't really need to linger much longer...even if he wanted to, just a bit. Nice to chit chat.

"I sorta like getting rained on. Odd as that is." She looked up at the sky for a moment. "It's better than rolling around in a waterhole to get clean." She loved the rainy season since she could get clean without having to get in muddy water that lions were licking. "I think i'll like being around others most. It's been forever since i was and i miss it."
She took a few steps toward her skull before looking back at him. "Don't want to come in and see it all nice and cleaned out?"

"It is odd," he confirmed with a nod. He hated it. Oh well, she could just go find something to lie on when it rained if she liked it so much. It wouldn't hurt anything.
"Nah," he said. "I'll check it out another time, maybe when it's all perfect inside. I don't know how long those pelts will last. Shall have to...get you a better one." That was...odd. He was being odd, but he didn't want to make it too obvious. Hopefully he wasn't getting soft, or Mbezi might get the best of him, stupid runt.

She grinned and nodded. Odd or not she liked rain.
"Suit yourself then. I'm sure i'll find something eventually. Maybe a zebra." At least it would look interesting on the floor if nothing else. "Ooh ... or a lion pelt. Show those fuzzy idiots who's boss."

Tukutu laughed. "The zebra pelt might come before the lion one, but you never know." Especially with all the hate towards lions, if one wandered a bit too far...well, there were probably enough hyenas to take it down. Might be a struggle, but it would be a victory. "Maybe we'll get a group together and go hunt. Something bigger than normal." Then they could all eat good for once. Get the lazy bums up.

"Never know." She grinned. "Hunting would be good. Nice fat meal and something soft to sleep on." And if anyone else tried to steal the skin she could just chew them up for it.

He flopped his tail and nodded. "Sounds like a plan," he grinned. "See you tomorrow then. Maybe just get you here, 'til you figure out where everything else is." Besides, it wouldn't hurt to few that he might scramble up for it. Comrades or...whatever.

SHe nodded and turned to head toward her new home. "Just try to get them up before me or i might have to chomp on a few backsides."
