"Only towards me," Tukutu admitted with a shrug. He didn't know why, and didn't think he would ever completely understand why. He didn't worry about it too much.
His ears swiveled forwards and back, before flattening on his skull. "No, there really isn't much to do here. Things have been restless because everyone was so bored. There were talks of finding some wild dogs to enslave, but nothing has come of that yet."

"Enslave?" She rasied a brow at that. She'd never really heard abut anything like that. Her family hadn't 'enslaved' anything and she didn't really know what you'd do with them if you did.
"Why would you enslave wild dogs?"

He shrugged. "It happened once before. Mafa had brought one in, sort of like a personal servant. I think the only reason some of the others want something like that is just to boss over another. I didn't get into it too much." His tail twitched as he thought about it. "It'd be nice in some ways, but I'm just too lazy to enforce something. I'm not sure, who knows. Most of the males that are left just like to ramble because they're frustrated. Wild dogs are a bit easier to handle than say... a lion. Matters on how young it is, I think the wild dog was caught when she was young, and alone."

"Still don't get the point of a slave..." It still sounded fishy to her. Something about it was odd.
"Wouldn't ... having slaves make you ever lazier? I mean you'd end up never doing anything because you'd have someone else to do it for you. That seems silly." She liked hunting on her own anyway. That way she knew she could catch something tasty

"I think we may need a couple to help keep the place...not such a mess. But even then I wouldn't want to treat them as slaves. I'm a little softie, I'll admit," he grinned. "Something will get figured out. I wouldn't let them out to hunt, they might never come back."
He shuffled a bit before continuing. "I wouldn't worry about it much, it's just restless talk. They're all too lazy to go out and find someone themselves to get and bring back."

"Someone should still bite them all until they stop being so lazy." She grinned and shook her head. SHe didn't get why they could be so lazy with a loudmouth like Mbezi running around. She'd think they'd spend hafl their time trying to shut him up.
"Gotta be some way to make them move."

Tukutu nodded. "I think it'll figure itself out soon. I had to get unlazy just to start getting things rolling, maybe they will too," he grinned.
"Anyway, I'm glad that everything is going good, even with a little bumps here and there. It'll probably be like that for a bit, but that's life in the pack. Got your skull all covered in furs?" he chuckled.

"I did." She nodded happily. "I found some more and i killed a few things and now i have everywhere nessissary covered in soft furs." She'd even managed to skin a few rabbits without too much trouble.
"Now all i need is a nice boy to bring me presents and food and everything will be set"

"Oh? Well, I'm sure if I find someone that's nice I'll point them in your direction." His tail twitched as he was still amused at her need for furs. Did all girls want that? He had started to think about Mafa, but she had never just been a girl. Or even a female. She was just...crazy Mafa.
He shrugged his shoulders to himself, though Baki would probably be confused. "Eh, thinkin'. Glad you're all settled in 'n whatnot. GUess I don't need to worry about you too much afterall."

"Long as they're not lazy." She wouldn't stand for lazy. It just wasn't right when you were suppose to be courting someone. "Can't point yourself in my direction? Or does some other girl have dibs on you?"
She hadn't -seen- any other females around yet. The whole placed seemed to be filled with males from what she'd observed

Ugh. It was so....complicated. And something he didn't like to talk about. Not that he ever had to, but he had no idea how to explain it.
"The short answer would be no," he said. "While I am considered the consort to the Alpha, it's more of a working relationship rather than anything else." He had blown that chance when Mabozi came along.

"So you're free." She smirked as she shifted and stretched her front paws. "Which -technically- means you have found someone nice to point in my direction. You're just not paying attention."
She wasn't ever one to mince words and it seemed like he was going to brush her off anyway'

Tukutu shook his head. "You're wandering in dangerous territory. I thought you said you didn't want someone lazy? I'm the lead of lazy around here, especially when it's wet out," he chuckled. "Y'never know, though."

"I bite pretty hard." She grinned again. "Besides. Yous aid yourself things need to get moving. Best to set an example if you actually want things to happen"

Tukutu shrugged, obviously his favourite motion. It was an easy one, and it felt like it made everything not so...blunt. Even if she liked to talk that way. "Well, you'd be surprised if any of the furballs remaining around here actually bothered to notice. But we just might see, hm?" It'd be nice to get things kicking again, then he could stop having to be so busy and just be completely lazy again.
