" Well, I did go to see a few quidditch matches...
I don't always read I love to draw! I draw
creatures,plants,people..."
explained Nelly.

"Really? Can I see some of your drawings?" Carys sat back up, "Please?" She always loved to look at art, even if Carys herself failed at drawing even a stick figure.

"Sure!" Nelly said.
She looked in her trunk and there was a
muggle note book
the cover was doodled all over
of hearts and quotes.
Nelly handed the note book to
Carys.

Nelly stood up and walked to the window.
She looked outside with her big sparkling blue eyes.
" Well I think I'll go into the common room catch ya later!"
Said Nelly.
She skipped through the door and into the common room .

Carys took the notebook and started to look through them, "Wow! These are really good!" She continued to flip through it when Nelly said she was going to head down to the Common room, "Okay." She finished looking through the notebook, and placed it on Nelly's bed.

Caraway Jenn walked cautiously into the girl's dorm room. As a first year, she didn't know what to expect. The room was lovely and cozy with it's magic but seemingly Victorian heater, though, and she made sure to claim a bed near the pretty yellow banister across from the door.

"H-hello," she said nervously, hoping to make new friends. "I've just been sorted."

Carys turned to Caraway, and smiled, "Hi." She got up off her bed and walked over to Caraway, "I'm Carys Moore, but you can call me Rys." She offered her hand to the young girl, "Where are you from?"

Bailey slipped into the room claiming to be the girls dorm. If at first she had felt any reluctance in being placed in Hufflepuff, it had surely all evaporated by now. She stood inside a large, circular room, decorated generously with her new house colors. Her eyes sparkled with pride as she saw her teal and black trunk beside a comfortable looking bed, plastered with yellow and black silk sheets upon which a majestic looking Badger was embroidered.
She skipped over to her new bed and began unpacking her thing, humming a quiet melody of sweetened notes as she worked. As she placed a picture of her and her mum at her bedside, she noticed two cheery looking girls chatting just a few beds away.
"Hello ladies!" she called enthusiastically, "Name's Bailey. I'm new to Hufflepuff. Are you two first years as well?"

Carys turned to the new girl, "Hey! I'm Carys, but you can call me Rys. I'm new to Hufflepuff too! Where are you from?"

Anna-may walked into the dormitory, her cat on her shoulder. She found her trunk at the end of the bed, and sat down on her bed.

Caraway smiled to the other girls and replied, "Yes, a first year. I'm from muggle London. You?"

She stroked her black owl affectionately and sat atop her bed, which she had just laid a homemade quilt upon. It had been a suprize gift from Caraway's mother as she left for Hogwarts.

Anna looked up. "So you're a first year, too?"

.:Bailey Rae Oliver:.

"Pleased to meet you two." Bailey smiled at them with sparkling eyes, "I'm from Oxford, actually. It's a big city just outside of London. I wasn't muggle born, but my father was, and after he left, my mum decided to raise me in the muggle world. You know, try to dissolve all those hard earned values into me. I hope it worked..." she gave them a little smirk, and absentmindedly began tracing the outline of the badger which was emblazoned on her bedding.

"Wow, Muggle London and Oxford? That's pretty cool!" She smiled and retracted her hand, "I've never been to either place, except to get to Diagon Ally or board the train here... I grew up in Belfast, Ireland."

"Belfast?! Wow!" exclaimed Bailey, excitement now tingling through her veins, "Me and mum visited Belfast during our summer vacation two years ago! It's beautiful there. They have the most magnificent architecture. I took some amazing pictures of the Deluce Castle. I bet you absolutely adored living there, huh?" Bailey's eyes were glazed over as she daydreamed of walking by the glorious mass of Belfast City Hall.
