zenoxy Fantastic! I should add Prisma Coloring Pencils to my list to add to my Crayola xD Paper blending stubs? Oh my, you work so hard and so long on these pieces----they really do show and are marvelous heart Thank you for answering---your art is very interesting 3nodding Such expertise in your careful coloring!
Your very welcome for the reply, anytime I can help or give advice! ^-^ Blending stubs is what I call them, I don't remember the technical name. But they are just stubs of paper rolled into a point and you can blend the graphite across the paper to work in your shadows. I swear by them. LOVE them. You can buy them at arts and craft stores in the pencil section. Prisma Colored Pencils, I'm gonna warn you. They are EXPENSIVE. But well worth the buy. They are more of an investment to me I guess. They are a soft lead, they blend and layer nicely. And thank you for your kind comments!

Bassken Lake Monster 3nodding oh, Mr. phantom! He's got a mighty intense stare eek I like the little smirk :3 It adds character. The spacing between the top half and bottom half of the face is a bit too big. http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_gCPszmD_o-E/RoRfdvISNyI/AAAAAAAAAAM/Pu0Tnd8rFck/s320/rostro+de+frente+y+perfil.jpg Here's a diagram of the human head 3nodding It's some decent ref for later. As you can see the distance of the bottom of the ear lobe and the corner of the jaw in the phantom portrait is a bit exaggerated compared to the diagram. Next time just keep in mind the distance from the ear to the jaw is the same as base of the nose to the lips. 3nodding
AAAhhh, I see. I knew SOMETHING was off, just couldn't place it. That damned mask, I tell you..I was ready to toss the damned scrapbook across the room! lol. Was a fun little challenge though.
