Did y'all miss the Knoxx Sidewinder?

Took a five-round stick or a ten-round offset drum. Fit on the 500/590. They were going to make one for the 870, but they got bought by Blackhawk! and the project was scrapped and the existing model was discontinued. They run a pretty penny now, but are still pretty common on Gunbroker.

This would've been great if it was universalized and easy to install and remove or could work with the shotgun's tubular capacity.

It really sucks that it's been scrapped.

No. Sorry. They still need to make a conversion kit that allows tube feds to take stick mags. Either as conversions or ammunition additions.

This is just a quick fix for that original objective.
it's been done since the 80's
valtro PM5

I'll have to ask will from red jacket if he can convert an 870

they work do a lot of work with saigas and AKs, but a lot of that includes changing/converting feed systems/magwells and getting them to work properly

either I can find a valtro PM5,have the mag well widened and the magazine catch to be on level with a saiga mag

or have an 870 geared for accepting saiga mags

something like that is the only thing missing that I'd want from a pump
A valtro is a shotgun all on its own. It's not a conversion kit nor an addition kit.

All that bullshit you have to do to increase or make the feeding system on a particular tubular fed shotgun is tedious and there's no universal kit that has been able to fix that.

I want simplicity not a lot of lengthy gunsmithing.

Sidewinder I believe was a b***h to install and remove.
that does it then, Ill have to have one made. when i'm making enough cash, i'm calling red jacket for an estimate

something as simple as that shouldnt cost too much.

going to be running a lot of 8 rd saiga 12 mags and a few MD 20's through an 870
