Well, John Woo or whatever his name is is going to do it right? I have faith in him, and as long as it will be in the form of past tense as the games are and cover her missions from SR388 - Zebes ( the first 3 games ), I think he couldn't go wrong. Then again, including Metroid Prime 1 in there wouls help the story also XD.

If John Woo is making the film, than i expect it to be great.
He made some pretty damn good films in the past so I think all will be well.

I have a feeling its gonna be a good movie but probably no oscars. Maybe it will be bad (I mean look at the Mario movie)

i think the movie will rock as well. but the movie will have to be mostly computer animated. if done anything like scifi movies the grapics will suck. other wise it will be awsome. does anyone know the date its gonna be out yet?

If they do make a Metroid Movie it's either going to be really good or really bad.

I hope that it'll be really good because if it's crap then that's a load of people put off buying Metroid Prime 3 for revolution. Only those like us who have played the games before will know that it's a great series but if the movie's crap then people who haven't before played Metroid games will take one look at MP:3 and say,
"Well the movie was crap so the games must be crap as well."

Hello Doom 3 was movie and it kicked a** espeacily the fps part

I don't think it would be really that great because there would be alot of cgi in it so it would be kinda weird plus it is really ment to be a game

People are saying that a movie based on a game is going to suck, but then again it's never really been tried. What do you think about the Metroid movie?

I thought Milla Jovovich would be a better bet, but since the Resident Evil films I guess she would be used too much in video game films.

I still think Milla Jovovich would have been a better choice.
