Salvaged Dusk Looks like you have yourself a following.
Do you suppose it might be incentive for game play if some artists doodle free art if players request it in-game? Something very small, quick, and easy. Maybe clustering around that one artist in Barton town, as a sort of de facto spot to congregate? razz
I think it would be an incentive for players if the effect was large enough so that people would know that going to zOMG gets them chances of getting illustrations, drawings of their avis, or other things. Maybe with something like those little hide and seek things people sometimes do: giving some hints about where the various artists might be, and then drawing for those people which find them (maybe moving around as they do so), to get more exploration, maybe encourage people to try to be able to go to any map. Or maybe as incentive for crews for instances. Artists note that they'll draw the crew as a group or individually if they join (better than cookies!), helping the artists get crews as well as providing incentive to stick around. Incentive might also be there to be skilled and do well, if the art will be based on their success or failure (so unless the people want art of a bunch of dazed Gaians, they've got to fight). rofl
