VolcanicWolf Well that wasnt what I expected. Oh well everyone has their on and off days. Well today was possibly a bad day off. Hmmm Well today is the second day of the Modmas, I suppose, at least I believe it is. I wonder who this chick is. No I suppose I'm not the most clever or "PROPER" girl, or at least I think so. The truth is I barely know anything. I was raised here on Gaia. Though people always look at me wierd, they seem to like me, hate me though when they are demolished by me...maybe me or are these flutes that do the doing. Either way my luck is still unknown. I stare at this girl who is flailng around like a maniack because of the Grunny. I hit the Grunny off of her and then ask "Who are you?"
Mission One Complete
I'll figure this out... Shiva thought as she stared at the cute fluffy, AND hungry little bunny monsters around her...
She whisked her fan again, to no avail. Another slash managed to get one bunny off her head with a whimper.
"Damn..."
As she stared hopelessly at twenty pairs of her reflection on her enemies' eyes, a thought crossed her head--she, an angel of death, immortal in every inch and breath, with the power to take and claim at her whim, is now living her worst nightmare and losing all her stakes as if the dice turned 180-degrees against her. On her immortality she wished for nothing, but now at her mortality she wished for anything other than death by these little, useless creatures with no more than five years of a lifetime.
She must have been so immersed in her thoughts that she didn't a grummy was already at her shoulder, ready to chew her ear, until someone striked the grummy down off her.
"Who are you?" The golden-eyed girl asked the shinigami. She must have looked so strange and clueless, as she can sense from the tone of tne stranger's voice. Would she tell the truth that she WAS, indeed, not of this world? Or would she get away with an innocent lie?
If she chose the former, it would be difficult to believe. Not too many Gaians know that other beings, besides the Mod Gods, exist in the other world. And even if she tells the truth that she is one of these beings, it won't hold true anymore.
But if she chose the latter, well... she can't. Only mortals lie, and acting like one would be a total shame. Such self-righteous creatures these angels are.
Suddenly realizing the green pests creep towards them again, she thought that her used-to-be-magical fan would be useless, else embrarass her divinity again. Swallowing her pride, she took her scythe and proceed to finish the job before she could answer... Ten grummies fell at once. A weak, final blow finished one off before it could leap at her. At least, her scythe works here...
"I'm not from these parts..." Shiva reluctantly said, turning to answer.
You wouldn't believe me even if I tell otherwise...
"I'm on a mission against some Gambino who dared challenge the Mod Gods... and I can see that you are in this quest too. Or will you be still, after this?" |
