KuroAkaNeko I'm telling you to lift with your knees D: Wouldn't using actual leg muscle be better than fragile kneecaps?

But if we're taking it this technically... wouldn't that mean you'd be literally lifting everything with your legs instead of your whole body?

KuroAkaNeko But if we're taking it this technically... wouldn't that mean you'd be literally lifting everything with your legs instead of your whole body? But then the only part of my body getting exercise are my legs(?). @Kuro: Still, thought not achieved. :c

But then the only part of my body getting exercise are my legs(?). @Kuro: Still, thought not achieved. :c Would you want to "work out your legs" or suffer torment of a strained and pained back? You can't really work out your back muscles like that anyways. It'll do too much spinal damage. You work out your stomach muscles (to prevent intestinal damage from excessive weights... or something). Check out powerlifters. They look all fat, but their gut is made of iron!

Only the fluffs of doom can take a topic about arms hurting and take it from a suggestion of 'lifting with legs' to kneecaps, to damage caused when lifting too much with certain parts of the body, to powerlifters being awesome.
