You think God is selfish?

Before, I used to think the God is selfish and punishes us through the consequences of our actions -pero that was before, nung hindi pa ako palasimba at nagbabasa ng Bible.

What I realized is, He is never selfish; because sometimes, we usually forget that He is always there guiding us all throughout, and it's not His fault if we are suffering from the consequences of our actions neither. Indeed, God has purposes -but those were good purposes, and not those who would lead us away from Him.

Free will is something God has given us, and something He can't control. This is something I've learned way back when I was in 4th year highschool, Values Education.

Kung ano mang nararanasan natin, why not make it through prayers and open it up to Him. Ask for help and guidance. God is always willing to listen naman; and God won't give us something we can't bare; because no problem is bigger than Him.

And why blame God? Did He ever blame us that we are the reason why Jesus sacrificed His life to save us from our sins? Hindi, di ba? :] So who are we to do so?

Imagine. If you would always blame and question life like, "God, bakit ganito?" "Bakti ako na naman?" "Bakit mo ako pinarurusahan?" Hindi natin maeenjoy yung life and blessings na binibigay Niya sa'tin.

Feeling ko nga, every problem is a blessing. Kasi kapag nalampasan mo yung problems mo without blaming or questioning Him, di ba ang sarap nung feeling na pasalamatan Siya whole-heartedly? Rather than, nalampasan mo yung problem mo, pero nasisi mo pa si God; parang may guilt pa.. parang sana hindi mo yun ginawa. Kasi through every problems, nandiyan Siya. Nakakalimot lang tayo.

Kaya if you have Faith, lagi mong mararamdaman ang presence ni God, kahit sa sobrang maliliit na bagay. :] By faith din, you can never blame God about anything that's happening to you -ang magagawa mo lang talaga agad, is ask for help to Him. He's always there. He's always willing to help us. Lalapit lang tayo. :]

I believe that He is not selfish. Nasa atin mga tao yung mali eh. Minsan, pag hindi sang ayon sa ating will ang mga nangyayari, sinisisi natin sa Kanya ang mga ito. Hindi natin alam na everything is willed by Him and that He knows what is better for us.

There are reasons kung bakit hindi napapasaa atin yung mga bagay na ating gusto, kaya siguro naiisip natin na selfish Siya, pero naniniwala akong may plano Siya para sa atin. Maybe there are still better opportunities or things out there that's meant for us. We just have to wait, for His plans to be made to life. smile

God sacrificed his only Son/gave Himself to redeem us from the bondage of sin.

Selfishness is one of the results of sin and for what its worth, Religion doesn't matter to God. Jesus Christ didn't shed his blood/die on the cross for any religion, he came for our Salvation and to establish His Kingdom on earth. Religion only creates division and confusion.
