American attitude. I wear boxers most of the time. its fresh, its free (in the sense that my balls are freely hanging and my d**k's not restrained), its cooler. and with boxers, its easy to adjust when sporting a wood.

though on special occasions i wear briefs. on parties, i wear to hold it in place and to emphasize. during sports, to hold it in place. dangling dicks and balls hurt when running.

yeah. i use both but boxer most of the time.

If science ang pagbabasehan, sa Philippines mas recommended ang boxers because of the temperature. Since the scrotum has to maintain a certain temperature then it is more advisable to be hanging instead naka enclose sa loob ng brief which makes it warmer.

Well, i can go both. When i go out i usually wear boxers. It gives me this free, breezy feeling down there. It helps my balls breathe a little. and yes, basing on science, our scrotum has to maintain a certain temperature. Preferably cool temp to promote semen/sperm production.

But then sometimes, i wear briefs especially when it requires me moving a lot. Dangling and moving doesn't really come together. When i go to the gym, i usually wear fit briefs just to hold them balls down there to avoid hurting myself. wink

Agree guys?
(i don't think in the Philippines people love to wear boxers. they're more of a brief type of people)

I like boxers, but I think the brief is more healthier. Dangling of the scrotum can actually cause it to sag and enlarge which is a bad sign in terms of health statistics.

if briefs were to increase the scrotum temperature into abnormal ranges, our forefathers could have been infertile, we should've been unborn. smile

OVER RATIONALIZING.... jeez!
no one said, wearing briefs causes infertility.

And for your information, look into all anatomy and physiology books, scrotum are really sagging. Enlargement is already a manifestation of a disease and not by wearing of loose garments.

And regarding temperature, it only said that the cooler the environment for the scrotum the more it helps produce semen/sperm for ejaculation.

It's the same point. Abnormal temperatures actually defects the scrotum's ability to produce sperm. Cool temperatures do provide areas to produce better sperms but there is no actual proof in the world today that briefs causes too much heat. Boxers may be comfortable but the brief provides the necessary support the scrotum needs. Enlargement is somehow caused by wearing loose garments since there is no proper support. You, yourself, already stated that you use briefs during physical activities which is a great manifestation that such discomfort can be felt when wearing loose garments, and this particular discomfort actually leads to serious prostate problems.

no its not the same point.. no one said abnormal temperature here and no one said heat defects the scrotum's ability to produce sperm. only cool temperature helps produce MORE sperm.

discomfort is different from disease. give me a complete pathophysiology of why wearing loose garments can lead to prostate problems.

Wearing loose garments disables the scrotum for proper support, when a man moves heavily, it moves in random speed making it hurt- discomfort is experienced. I actually do not know the real scientific behind this, but my dad who is a rad.tech and his friend who is a doctor, actually said that this certain practice can trigger enlargement to the scrotum which is an unhealthy sign. Our scrotum needs the proper support, not just comfort.
