I saw the 50c pieces on sale today while I was at the Flinders St campus and thought of this thread straight away.
I.S. Wrights coins and medals shop is selling them for $10 the shop is located on Flinders Lane between Elizabeth and Swanston streets. Although as its now been a few months you probably arent after it anymore.

I have 1... infact I have 2. They have a lot of silver in them so they are really light and sing with you flick them.

I'd be happy to sell one to you if you find proof of their value for me.
