Guys, just a reminder: this role play is a literate role play, so try to make longer posts even though it might slow down the action. heart I know it's very different from the Inn of Peace rp for example where you can go back and forth with only posting one or two lines. Here you need to develop more. heart

Are mine too short? I'm sorry...I tend to be rather concise...if so, how to expand? There's only so many times it's fun to describe the room once it's been established.

Gren, I have to say yes, they are a little too short for literate role (although literacy is not only a matter of length).

Well, there are several ways:
- include the thoughts of the character
- describe what they see and how they feel about it
- include flashbacks, memories that can be raised by what they are currently experiencing
- wait for other players to post
- ....

EDIT: like with your latest post you could:
- develop what's his first impression as he first sees her
- explain what could be the possible means of discrediting her and her father, with pros and cons and why he likes or dislikes the idea
....

Well you can try to write in an almost 'mechanic' manner to show that this is you as the player showing information, not the character willing doing it! XD

And this is also one of the fun things about role playing: you, the player, know things that your character does not! Now that's when the fun starts! hehe! ^.^
That's also when you expect the other players to play their characters without godmodding and cheating. biggrin

Thank you! I'll try to keep them at least that long. It occurs to me that I can actually ramble on and on as I am prone to here while keeping relevant...I may end up doing that until fall into the proper swing of things.

As for the plans thing, it's because I tend to try and match things into a story telling element with foreshadowing. Bad habit.
