Personality: Ves is a headstrong little wildcat. She takes no crap from anyone about anything. She tends to overcompensate for her shortness by being loud and gruff. Very aggressive whenever meeting anyone new, she can/will become a loyal companion if the other person either ignores her bluster or calls her on it and can make her admit the truth. She has little to no respect for cowards or those she sees as weak.
Background Info Born into an insanely large family, she fought tooth and claw against the restrictions of her birth pride. While she loved her parents with all her heart, she hated being just one cub out of fourteen. Life in the swamps was too stagnate, nothing never ever happened. So when it came time for her to leave the swamps in search of her true self, she said goodbye to her family understanding that it would be the last time she ever saw them.

Personality: Dinger is very much a protector who will do whatever needs to be done to make sure the well being of others is well taken care of. She may come off as mean or brash but it is only because she is more concentrated on something else. Generally she is a very nice gal who will ask lots of questions to better understand the situation (whatever it may be). Dingergisbar also believes that her name is to big for her right now, so she prefers to be called Dinger. (She hasn't proved herself worthy of her own name yet).
Background Info Dingergisbar met Cythraul while he was out in the rogue lands and decided to tag back with him to the pride after hearing what it was all about. Her reason was partly due to Cythraul as she found him to be very intriguing, but she also loved the aspect of the pride and what the pride itself was all about. Dinger isn't overly... excited at the aspect of stealing something she has no use for, so she prefers to stay behind on the land and just tend to the needs of the males. Especially Cythraul's.

Personality: Azazel is proud, vain, and actually quite loyal so long as she can have her fun. She is a hard worker, a willing killer, and loves shiny things. She will always look her best even when working, and is a bit of a smartalec. She also will likely not speak the pirate dialect even after being around them for a long time.
Background Info Azazel has no family left, but one thing she keeps in mind is that fighting is something to be good at, appearance can be a major influence on others, and if you want it, take it. These are values her parents put into her. The idea of a pride that has those kind of values makes her quite pleased.

Personality: She balances charm and practicality with manners and politeness. Outgoing and engaging in social situations, she will become aggressive and goal-oriented in serious settings and when placed in roles of leadership, though she does not gravitate toward them. Dru is very shy and easily embarrasses herself when talking to those she has a crush on, or so she thinks, but will do it anyway because, well, because that's who she is. She tends to like shinies and collects them whenever she can, stashing them away to enjoy at her connivance. She is very sensitive to slights and responds best to encouragement rather than criticism.
Background Info: Dru has recently made the decision that while she loves shinies, the greatest treasure she could hope to protect are cubs. She'll kill any monkey that gets within ten feet of the cubs and five feet of any other treasure in the area.

Personality: Benito acts like he wants to be every male's friend. He's jolly (especially when he's had too much of the fermented fruit), good-natured and always joking. He's a reliable crewman and a decent fighter, provided the captain doesn't mind a little of his foolishness. Benito is extremely chauvinistic and would probably never work with a female Crewman without making fun of them ALL the time. As far as his relations with the ladies go, he prefers female cheetahs and insults all other breeds of feline. He expects a girl he likes to bow to his every whim, or she gets belittled like the rest of the rabble. He'll probably never settle down with a mate. Benito is not violent among this own pride members, but he does use his words to cut when he wants to make an example of someone he dislikes.
Background Info Poa'leli was Benito's name before he joined the Maestros. He found the pride as a adolescent and ever since has never yearned to be anywhere else. Benito's been highly influenced by the pirates, but some of this chauvinistic ideas were there before he joined, influenced by his father as he grew up. Benito and his siblings were born from a fling where his father took the cubs after they were born and raised them himself.

Personality: A bit gruff at first, once Kanzi warms up to someone, he can be kind and protective. He's not a lion who relies on intimidation much, preferring to earn respect from others than demand it at claw-point. If push comes to shove, though, he can get vicious.
Background Info One of a litter of three, Kanzi is the oldest and largest of his siblings(With, in birth order, one sister and one rather scrawny brother). As such, he became well-practiced in protecting his brother and sister, as well as picking fights with older rogue lions. After he parted ways with them and his parents in adulthood, he met Sokota'kibinja and fell in love, taking her as his mate. And then he heard about the pirates and went looking for them... You can guess where the rest of the story goes from there!

Personality: Cold, posessive, and posessing a know-it-all intelligence, Sokota only wants one female near her mate, Kanzi, and that's herself. Gods help any lioness or other female who gets near him, she'll do her best to mess the other girl up. She believes whole-heartedly in 'anything you can do, I can do better,' to an extent - She's pretty sure she can't get another girl pregnant, and Kanzi can't get pregnant himself!
Background Info One of a set of siblings herself, Sokota spent a large part of her life a rogue. When her sister went to the Ukuucha'wafalme, she decided she needed a man and a pride herself... But not a man she'd have to share. She didn't think she'd found it in Kanzi, but found herself falling in love anyway. When he spoke to her of a pride of treasure-gatherers, she found herself intrigued and followed him.

Personality: Scarlett's as detached from feminism as can be. She sees herself as a member of the crew first and foremost, and a lady second. She doesn't like to take lip from anyone (except her higher ups!), and though she won't start any fights, you can bet your a** she'll finish them.

More often than not, she's getting drunk off her a** and laughing it up with her fellow crewmates. After all, what fun is life if you don't jump straight in?
Background Info Scarlett ain't no spring chicken. She's seen her fair share of brawls and treasure hunting over her years living in the pride, but she's hanging in there.

Some say the reason why she isn't poppin' out young ones left and right is because she eats them when they're born. Others say it's because she's infertile. ("I say it's because she's too damn ugly," whispered a young male before Scarlett swiftly kicked him in his coin purse.) The truth is that when she was young, a mere adolescent, she got knocked up by some cheetah and when the cubs were born, he ran off with'em. Ain't seen them since, and she sure as hell isn't looking to repeat it by having more brats.

Background Info
Honey didn't grow up in the Maestros del Mar, quite. He grew up as the only boy in a fatherless litter of six, and as such developed a pretty thorough understanding of how the female psyche works, but before he was too far into adolescence one of his sisters' beaux decided he was no longer welcome, and rather than fight he ran and thus found the Maestros del Mar, where he feels quite at home.
