I want that holster that the Spetsnaz use for the Makarov. You know, the one that lets them pull the pistol straight down for a slightly faster draw.
I wonder if they have a holster that could somehow let you pull it out forward. That seems like you could draw even faster than the straight down since pulling it forward pretty much starts your up swing.
If I remember correctly, the Makarov holster also cocks the gun and chambers the first round when pulled down.
Then again, I got this info off of
Deadliest Warrior, and we all know how accurate that show is regarding combat. [/sarcasm]
the holster doesnt make any sense.... any wise warrior would already have a round chambered at all times.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdCx7Ve3ozgI can guaran-damn-tee you that someone has shot themself in the leg with one of these holsters. theres nothing covering the trigger and if you have a lot of gear and s**t on you're in trouble.
doesnt even look safe.... the holster deactivates the safety upon chambering, which makes me say WTF because why is the safety even on when it was empty?....should be the other way around.
yeah I know its supposed to be a holster that you pull the gun out of ready to rock and roll but you dont ******** pull a live safety-off handgun with an uncovered trigger guard downwards towards a pair of blood filled legs full of arteries....
that goes for both types of that russian holster.
keeping a handgun chambered in a good retention holster is still just about as fast. the only difference is that it's safe.....
I know it sounds a little hypocritical of me to say that but the difference between the pull through holster and pocket carry with a manual safety handgun is that in the pants and on the draw the safety stays on until the shooter does something about it in a "safe" direction
