Kitokono stood at attention as best his could. Doing his best to keep an eye on both of his pup in the process, which wasn't nearly as easy a task as he would have liked. He listened intently as those before him introduced themselves, and was even taken aback a bit when the young pup before him trudged proudly to the front to state his rank. He had assumed he would be responsible for introducing his pups to their new pack. He had also been wrong.
Now that his turn had arrived, he nodding approvingly to his pups and stepped up to the plate.
"I am called Kitokono, and I am here to become a Scout."
Unsure on exactly what proper procedure was within this new pack, he nodded nervously once again and stepped back into line.

Ubongo had been happy with his small family. Now he was faced with introducing himself to a sea of hyenas. He hadn't seen this many gathered in one place since leaving the pack of his birth. It was a bit intimidating, but at least the remnants of his family were at his side. He stepped forward after his son-in-law, clearing his throat. "Ubongo. I'm here to hunt," the grey hyena said. He was too old to train as a guard or a scout. He would leave that to the young hyenas, strong and swift as they were. Likewise, Ubongo had neither the interest nor the training to become a bone collector, bone reader or bone setter. Whatever strange customs this new pack had, at least a pack would always need hunters. It was a good, honest job. He stepped back amongst his family. Lots of these new hyenas looked like they'd been born into the pack. All grey and brown and spotty. Byta did not approve. How was he supposed to know who was a real pack member? He had been trying to commit all the names of the strangers to memory, but there were just too many of them. Giving up, he sat and sulked for a while before introducing himself. "I'm Byta. I'm a bone collector." The juvenile barked. Of course, he was no such thing, not yet, but whatever. It wasn't like princess high-and-mighty and her dad were going to check his references. Probably Masuko would even be impressed by his awesomeness.

Kombe didn't mind that some other hyena had gotten in line between him and his granddad. The more space between them, the better. And once they were done with these stupid introductions, Kombe could go off and have some fun.
Well, Biter or whatever the kid in front of him was named obviously wasn't really a bone collector yet, so Kombe figured he could say what he was going to be as well. "I'm Kombe, and I'm a scout," he said with a quick head bob to the princess. Then he took off.

Kuni was not the least bit fond of the large gathering of strange Hyenas here with a purpose similar to his own. All here to join into the pack. A broken growl rumbled through his throat as he slowly moved through the shadows on the outskirts of the gathering, making his away toward the leaders as he took care to dodge the others. He was hardly the most social, or stable, Hyena out there. And one would think he'd prefer to be a loner. But alone, he did not have such wonderful opportunity to rip lions into tiny little bits. With a pack, he could do far more damage to the larger species... That alone was his ultimate goal.
Sweet, sweet revenge...
A manic smile spread over his scarred maw, a quick bard of laughter escaping before it was gone, his face once again showing only annoyance. He was lurking for a good while before he saw the opportunity to make his own introduction, finally trotting free of the shadows. " Ukunimata.. " He growled out his name, already growing tense under the eyes upon him. " Guard. " It was stated simply. He would only accept a rank that would allow him to fight. His introduction over in only those two words, he stalked back into the shadows to make his way deeper into the graveyard in search of a comfortable new den.

Kisukuku wasn't sure what to think about being a part of this large gathering. It was frightening, seeing so many others, and she huddled close to those she knew, trying to keep from trembling. That did not, however, keep her voice from shaking as she stepped forward on shaking paws, her ears tipped low, and spoke.
"I'm Kisukuku," she paused for a moment, hesitant to deliver the same 'I'm a' declaration as her brother, then added, "And I want to be a Bone Setter when I'm big enough." Helping to keep others from dying... that would be nice.
The juvenile breathed a sigh of relief, then darted for shelter next to and slightly hidden by her grandfather. Mafuta had little patience for this roll call. She had other, more important things to be doing. What, exactly, she wasn't sure, but she knew she had them! Best to get this over with, then.
"My name is Mafuta'Mla. I"m a guard," she said as she stepped forward, then went back to where she had been originally. Hopefully this wouldn't take too much longer.

Muundi watched at the side of Mtulinga as each hyena took their turn speaking of who and what they were. Why had he and Mtu decided to stay again? Never had they been so...bunched together. At least there were youngsters here to be able to torment. When he was next in line to speak, he stepped forward, flicking one of his long ears back towards the female who had become his counterpart. He rarely ever left her side, but something dawned in his mind that this probably wasn't they best place to use their 'mind-reading' antics, (they had been together for such a long time that knowing what each other was practically thinking just came natural to them). The small gesture would be enough to let Mtu know he was to speak on his own, and she too would follow in suit if she chose.
"I am Muundi," his voice was strong, but lacked something to it. "Call me a scout," he really didn't care what title he was given, but at least with this one, he didn't have to stay in one place. And there would always be the fact that he (and Mtulinga of course) could have some fun with those who dare walk in or out of the bonelands.

Mtulinga felt instantly anxious the moment the male stepped away from her side. She shifted from paw to paw, her hackles raising slightly. She wanted to snap at the moron next to her, finding it easier to blame the stranger for Muu leaving her. Even if he was very close, even if she would have to leave his side in the next second. Her ears twitched as she listened to his answer, nodding slowly in agreement.
When he moved back to her she did not want to step forward, but she made herself. "And I am Mtulinga, also a scout." her voice was slightly strangled as she rushed to get the words out, stepping back again and sitting beside her counterpart.
