Having four feet he can only pine fot the ocean always feeling hemmed in by the confines of the Pride and the land around him, almost feeling like a prisoner. He silently calls for his sister, hoping she will come for him, and show him what the other part of his heritage is like. In a way he feels like the last lion standing since most of his kin were wiped out by the plague that killed the mermaids. He sometimes feels like an outcast within the Pirates, though he works hard at being crew and gives all he can to the ship he is assigned to, yet there is always a part of him that yearns for the sea and that need to be within the ocean and its depths. Her father died protecting them, which shattered her mother. Her mother and her were very close, and they were each other's strength and company till the very end. No one is really sure how Avina's mother died, but however it was it has left her a little lost. Despite her scowly demeanor, her nature is actually very loving and giving, and you can see it when the Crews come in hurt, or when they get sick from to much fermented fruit or a cub or young Missioner is ill. Avina is a quiet Corsair, and most mistake her frowns and unhappy look for anger, but reality, its just her grieving over the loss of her mother and really, her only true friend. ( hopefully many will bite lol) but she knows and understands how fleeting the life of a Pirate is, so she lives for the moment every time he...er...they...are in port. The fermented fruit flows, the moonlight shines, the dancing and long..very long walks along the shores commence and Drina and her love(s) spend those magical moments being serenaded by the sea. Of course she excepts all trinkets they wish to bestow as signs of their undying devotion and she expresses her own heartfelt emotion to them as well. Which is never a lie for she truly means it...in that moment.

Personality: 'Shala' has no qualms about his calling in life, he knows it without question. He is perhaps, the most sure footed cat you will ever meet. He's got his head on right, and will not deviate from the path laid out before him. Shala is defiantly loyal and takes pride in that fact.

Personality: Tifai is not arrogant, but she knows that she's good at whatever she does. No matter if it's lending a paw to care for another, or using that same paw to scratch your eyes out. Not one to talk, but makes for a good diligent worker. Tifai tends to keep her warmer emotions on the inside.

Personality: Adrastos fled to the pride after encountering some trouble in the roguelands, wanting the nearest pride for safety. For safety sake, he stayed, becoming a full fledged member of their society. Not having grown up around the customs of it, he's unused to a few of the expectations of a male. The biggest being marriage not being very important. Adrastos is a charmer. A hero in the typical bedtime stories you would tell your little one. He's always there to lend a hand to a female who needs it, often getting himself into trouble when he can't say no. He believes they should be protected. He's also quite the romantic.

Meaning: Maiden crowned with a radiant garland

Personality: A good case of "Don't judge a book by its cover." Galadriel looks like a sweet little thing who would do the biding of anyone who asked her within a heartbeat. And she certainly tries to keep that appearance around others. Like the song suggests, she isn't the mating for life type and very much enjoys the life of a single lady. She has a take charge attitude, and, though she does the duty of a female just fine, she's not one who can be kicked around easily. Galadriel isn't afraid to fight back if someone were to bully her. No matter their rank.

Meaning: Nothing, just the latinized version of Sadb.

Personality: More of a background type song. There was a time Sabia, long before the pride, had a potential mate who turned into a not-so-good leopard. Cared more for himself. Left her alone for days, weeks at a time. She's thankful they never had cubs, because she up and left one day after losing too much of her patience with dealing with him. Now she's a rather bitter and grumpy feline. Very untrustworthy of most around her, 'specially of the male variety. She let herself be taken advantage of before. She won't anymore.

Song: El Tango De Roxanne - Jose FelicianoPersonality: Genitivi was once a calm individual who kept his feelings to himself, and only shared his signature smiles. Then she came. As adolescents, they were lovers, and as adults, she chose another over him because of what the other lion could give her. While she was always out for power, Genitivi was in it for love. Now that she's effectively kept him on a string for most of his adult life, he's finally starting to go mad from it. He can't let her go, not when she talks to him like that, but at the same time, he can't keep her. This causes Genitivi to go throw fits and snap at any well wishing person who happens to get to close. Some nights, fermented fruit is the only thing that can fight back his demons, and others, he's strong enough to over come them.

Female pridemembers are usually corsairs. A valuable treasure is anything the commodore or captains see as having worth; these can include fruit, pelts, turtle shells, food, and trinkets. I want me some OCEAN DEPTHS Name: Tangeroa Meaning: A god of the ocean. Song: Under the Boardwalk by the Drifters Personality: Tangeroa is not actually a very good pirate, because he is always more interested in wenching then he is in going out with his ship and bringing back loot. He's always on the beach with a lady, where he can tell them in a husky voice how beautiful they are and admire the sparkle in their eyes as they complement him back. When he has a lady friend and does go out, he does his part in fights, but he doesn't actually care about loot. He just wants to get back to the beach and the ladies and the sun, and he usually gives his loot to his girlfriend to impress her. The difficulty Tangeroa has is that he actually falls in love with every one he tries to woo. He'll stay with them, for a few weeks or a few seasons, until he grows bored, but he says he never stops loving them. He gets mopey when a relationship ends, and this emo time for him is when he's the most use on the ships, going out and being very active, trying to prove he doesn't miss the girl, bringing in loads of loot and sharing his part around. Then he falls in love with someone else and the cycle happens again. As a result, he has more then a few litters running around with little fishies on their bums . . . Tangeroa doesn't miss the mermaids, as he doesn't really remember them. His entire life is fun, sand, surf, and females.

Answer one: Primarily, foods, fruits, pelts, trinkets, turtle shells... Or just about anything, especially if the Commodore and/or Captain(s) find(s) valuable. Answer two: Corsair, Huntress, or Slave are the most common, though if a female really proves herself, she could be a Crewman, First Mate, or even Captain if she's REALLY good. It's not for any sort of status... Okay, yes it is. She wants to be able to rub it in the noses of the other girls, because if anything, she's a bit vain. Okay, a lot of vain. If she's not flaunting above someone, she's not happy, which could easily mean she's always unhappy... Or always happy.
