Meaning Egyptian name meaning Compassionate.
Personality She is the cheerful one out of the litter, constantly amusing herself with some game or other. Slightly absent minded she has a habit of getting herself lost around the pride and is often gone for hours at a time when in reality she is just round the next corner. Unlike her more boisterous sisters, she is perfectly happy to sit in one spot and amuse herself quietly all day, often by concocting short stories but more often she sings. Her singing is more of a whisper, though in later life she might be persuaded to sing at full voice as she has a really rather pleasant voice, she just lacks any kind of confidence. She has a very sweet if slightly self-depreciating sense of humor and is incredibly modest to the point where she assumes the res of her family is naturally better than her. Content to remain in the background she is a likable and very helpful cub always willing to lend a paw to anyone in need.

Personality Nebit is a born diplomat, she has this uncanny knack of seeing both sides of almost any dispute and having the right words to diffuse a situation that could go from bad to worse. She can observe most encounters with clarity, and react accordingly. Other then that, she's your average cub who loves to play and romp and really gets a kick out of her coloring. She loves her spots and often preens them. She just knows one day she is going to be a brilliant hunter like her mum, so those kind of games are her favorite. Stalk and pounce is the best one and absolutely no one is safe from it..thus her great skill in diplomacy.

Personality She's very sure of herself, and holds herself with grace. If there's something she doesn't think is right, she's not afraid to voice it. Most would call her opinionated, perhaps even sometimes a know it all. But she means well, she just likes to be responsible, and to be in the know. She's is sweet, however, and always up for meeting others, or being the leader to get things done. {introducing others, planning get togethers, etc.} There are times when she can be insistent on her views, which can leave grudges in the end if not resolved properly. So.. she does have a slight diva complex.

Upbeat I Naive I Creative I Idealistic.
Samira is a very happy-go-lucky sort of girl, she loves life and finds joy in the simplest of things, this isn't to say she's stupid or simple but she simply has a perfect understanding of the things that are truly important in life, the basics that allow us to function, anything else is a bonus and should be cherished. This cheery aspect and general contented outlook on life is also rather tainted at times by a nativity which leaves her open to attack, she is generally the butt of jokes from her siblings, particularly Chadran and on occasion her father. She generally shrugs them off however believing that they mean her no malice.
Samira loves jewellery and from a tender age aspires to be an artisan that produces the best and most sought after jewellery. She is gentle and has the patience of a goddess, she is very tactile with her paws and teeth and loves threading beads and twisting wire, she takes great satisfaction from creating something.

Personality It ought to be pointed out that she wouldn't be 'evil'. Because honestly, life is not black and white by those regards. This little cub will be unassuming, fitting well into the family dynamic. At an early age, her desolation might be confused for shyness or meekness. Never once being the sort to lash out in anger. But later in life, with age the little lioness will distance herself from her family moreso than others.
Despite her contempt for her kin, Arunika will keep up appearances. Almost as if she is embarrassed by her sickness of mind. Enjoying kills of prey. Doing it moreso out of sport than necessity. Arunika's life will center around her selfish pursuits. Keeping it as hidden from her family as possible. Not out of fear of having them find out. But to keep the balance in her relationship with them from becoming strained.

Personality One could easily say she is the worrier of the litter, the mini-mama that fusses if play turns too rough or someone wanders too far. When there is nothing going wrong and everything and everyone seems to be in high spirits is when little Beset is happiest. Any sign of stress or if something doesn't go according to plan, she has a tendency to work herself into a tizzy of worry with 'What if's and sets herself to making it right. If someone is upset, she'll do her best to soothe or make them laugh. If someone is angry, she'll make herself available to be someone to vent to. If someone is getting teased or bullied, she will march herself right up and give the offender what for! (Verbally, of course. She finds unnecessary physical violence distasteful.) When she isn't getting worked up over something and when she's just at ease amongst family or friends, she's a friendly albeit hardheaded sweetheart that has her opinion on a matter and staunchly stands her ground in matters she finds of important. (Such matters will obviously change as her priorities change as she grows and matures, but the happiness of those closest to her will always remain up near the top.)

Meaning Born backwards (Literal Egyptian: To give birth reverse)
Personality Pena was born backwards and since then, never really seemed quite.. right. She is absolutely convinced that she is a mirror image of her brother Chandran and from what she can see of herself, she is! From their celestial manes and tails to the coloring of their spots and stripes to their naked tails! Since she can't see her own nose or eyes, she refuses to believe they are different from Chandran's and insists that she will grow to become pure white, just like he is (as one can obviously see it's already starting to take affect on her legs!)! She even thinks she's a boy! Try to her otherwise Pena will pitch a fit and run off to pout and sulk by herself.
Other than this very peculiar quirk Pena is playful girl who enjoys rough housing with her siblings (Arusi especially) as well as anyone else who will play with her. She tends to have a rather relentless stubborn streak though (like sitting with her face in a corner for hours because she was told she is NEVER going to be a white lion like her brother) unless plied with food which Pena will never refuse! Though she puts up a standoffish front towards affection under normal circumstances (sleeping away from the dog pile of her siblings cuddled up to mom) when upset, scared or uncertain she won't turn away the comfort of being nuzzled and snuggled with (allowing someone to lean up against her and/or lick her) and might even reluctantly seek it out if she's alone.

Personality A few words to sum her up would be ladylike, ambitious and a lioness with a silver tongue.
Zaynab in every way lives up to her name. She considers herself a lady, though not exactly delicate as she can handle herself well enough and will uphold that thinking with a quick tongue and an even quicker mind. In addition to her light step and high-held head she is obsessive with keeping herself clean (and often her siblings as well). Deeply afraid of dirt, or sand in the case of the Dawnwalkers, getting into her fur and being unable to remove it. As she gets older though she aspirations will shift to finding her 'prince', whether she aspires to find herself in the royal family or find a metaphorical prince is another matter though.

Personality Asali is a very soft-spoken, yet sociable spirit. Her heart is always soaring high in the clouds –such an optimist!- and the lioness loves stories –in fact she’ll turn into quite the romantic!- she loves hearing tales and inventing them on her own. Her siblings are actually the normal inspiration for such things, they are so interesting after all! She loves watching others, her family especially, and instead of getting into the heat of things would act more as an audience, sometimes the calm voice in the storm. Often she may tend to be the peace maker of the group when things get troubled. Her voice is sweet, like honey, and can tend to have a calming effect on those who hear it.
But she’s not always a calm and quiet one. Despite her soft voice she has a sharp wit and often uses it to make fun and to tease others. Normally the more she cares about someone the more sarcastic she can become. (Yes, she may encourage arguments and small fights, but only if she feels that they are more amusing and not too serious) This would show up more as she gets older. As a cub, however, she’ll be too shy to really talk much outside of the family in such a way.

Personality Shai-nefer is a loud little girl. It's her way of making sure she gets attention in the large group of siblings. As she grows older she'll learn to use her inside voice more, but if she gets excited she tends to laugh and speak loudly even as an adult. As a cub one of her funniest games is to find an empty temple corridor to shout and sing in. Echo!
She loves being part of a big family and the worst way to punish her is to force her to some alone time. When she's allowed back she's meek, a bit sad and will stay good for days. (even if she only had to sit alone for a short time) She works best in a group and is always up for some mischief with a sibling... If no one in the family around she's not above harassing pride members or total strangers for company ("Hi!! What are you doing? Can I watch?"). The total stranger part wouldn't really happen until she's older unless she met someone that was visiting or had recently joined of course.
Living in a big family will teach her to cooperate and solve problems together, so I'm pretty sure she'll end up as a hunter. She will feel proud to follow in her mother's footsteps and is fiercely loyal to her family and her own group of hunters.
