Sea of mystery and uncertainty. Can we make it?

Name: Isibindi
Meaning: Courage
Personality: Stubborn and willful, maybe even just a little bit (and I mean a little bit) of an overprotective control freak. She doesn't attempt to hide it, though; mainly because half the time she doesn't mean to be. Isibindi aslo has a rather odd but firm belief that all males are morons in some way, shape, or form. She really, honestly just wants what's best for the group. She does have a sweet side, but it doesn't come out often.
History: Barely after her first hunt, her small family was slain in cold blood by a group of mauraders. Scarred by the sight of her dead siblings and parents, she did the only thing she remembered how to do: run.
She stopped after finding another of kind, the male, and at first followed him around because she quite simply had no where else to go. She had started to come to like him as friend when they stumbled apon the purple. Having flashbacks due to the sight of blood, she vowed to do whatever she could to be to purple's friend and protector. When they met the pink, Isibindi couldn't help but sense something a little... Off, almost. It might be nothing. Or it might not. Only time can tell.
Staying or going: Staying!
Other: She could end up as a close friend or mate, it really depends on how it plays out.

Filled with pain, how do we reach beyond?
Username: Hoshi Lockhart
Name: Andromeda
Meaning: "To think of a man" in Greek.
Personality: Submissive, Andromeda is a dainty little thing who is nearly incapable of fighting her own battles. She does what others around her want her to, unless it's something she's deeply against. She only sees the good in others, no matter how impure of heart they may be. There is a chance for everyone to change.
History: Andromeda is like the innocent step-sister in the fairytales. The first female is not a direct relative, but the two litters were raised close together, both of them the eldest in their respective families. There were part of a small pride, the two families being the highest in status, but not related to the royal line. The throne was currently unoccupied, the old leader having died of sickness while leaving his mate to tend for their only litter. They were a bit older than the other two noble litters and consisted of three girls and one boy. Being the customs of the time, though he wasn't the first born, he was the heir to the throne.
Andromeda's family was the most ambitious ones. They did everything, short of murder, they could to get their little girl on the throne. The cubs wouldn't be eligible until adulthood to become the next leader's mate. At which point he would pick for himself out of the proposed females. For now, the advisers were taking most of the burdens on their shoulders, teaching the young cheetah what he needed to know before taking it on himself. Andromeda's family wanted very much to rise in position through their daughter's marriage. Poor Andromeda just wanted to make her own decisions, but was too submissive of her parents to do anything. The first female, on the other hand, was all for becoming the Queen of the leader. For she had fallen in love with him.
Andromeda's family forced her into social situations with the young male in attempts that they would form a bond. In the beginning, however, it was the other female who managed to steal his heart away. That was until he discovered how deceitful she was. Turning tail, he switched to Andromeda, who was much sweeter and innocent. Andromeda, who was at first opposed to the entire idea of feeling like she was being sold off, started to change her mind and fall for him as he was her. They managed to reach adolescence before anything bad happened.
A group of lions who were the rivals of the cheetahs over territory, found and attacked the pride in the dead of night. Andromeda was spirited away by one, wanting to make the pretty cheetah his new mate. But she fought back. This made him mad. Instead of making her his mate, he now just wanted her dead. Before he could finish the job, a mystery feline stepped in and killed the lion. They took Andromeda away, to an area of the land they knew a male cheetah would find her and help her recover.
Staying or going: Staying. Whether in her delusional state or in her right mind, Andromeda deeply cares for the strange male. She doesn't want to leave and be alone.
Other: New pride and possibly a fling, depending on ideas of others? She'd like to start anew somewhere. She doesn't like being alone in the wild, so a pride is the only likely choice. Unless the male wishes to keep the clingy Andromeda around. She wouldn't complain.
I read historical romance too much, methinks? >o> Got a little carried away. Doesn't mean it can't be changed if need be, of course. Sounds like a different version of Anne and Mary Boleyn.
