Well, I suspect I may be a psychic vampire. Guessing from several experiences:

One of my coven member felt really tired around me and told me to go out of the room. She realized an atmospheric change and said I was "draining" her.

If I'm tired on a school day, after I've been around people, I feel energetic and really hyper.

And today I was with my boyfriend and he complained of being exhausted.

I don't want to do this to people... Any advice or help?

The best way is to ground yourself. If you do need energy, try finding a different source, instead, like from the Earth. Visualize the energy from the earth flowing inside you.

Do you usually lack energy? Usually a psychic vampire drains people because it needs it, not because you feel like it. Half the time you don't notice, or at least me.

What I do is I put up "barriers". I imagine them holding in my own energy, and when I'm around people, it seems to help keep me from draining people. True, I still drain some of my friends, but only after I told them about me.

Like my friend Donald-kun. I feed from people by touching, so I rub his hands. It actually seems to also help him because he has TOO much energy. So it both works out.

If you need any help, feel free to PM me. ^^

I do feel drained a lot. Usually after a day of school. Dunno why o-o

Well, the reasons being a psychic vampire drains energy is to make up for lost energy. They can NEVER make enough energy to sustain themselves.

Do you wake up tired/drained, or are you slowly being drained?

Tires me, too, but I wake up already drained. There's a difference.

I try for 9 hours. On weekends, I sleep in longer, and I still feel the same. I've also tried sleeping less, so I'm not sleeping too much.

Iron? I have no idea. Does too little or too much help or hinder?

Not getting enough iron leads to fatigue.

I still think psychic vampirism is bullshit.

Just because people believe in it doesn't make it fact or true.

Even if psychic vampirism existed, they shouldn't be calling themselves vampires as they do not fit the definition.

I also don't get the correlation between I feel drained and I suddenly don't feel drained because I'm around people. Or someone feels drained because they're around specific people but don't when those people aren't around and then automatically assume psychic vampirism.

Wouldn't that just be extroversion, anyway?
