Akahanna nodded briskly. "Right. I'm ready." Hauling herself over the brown and white mare, Akahanna tutted quietly while gently prodding the sides of the gentle beast. Starting off at a trot, she slowly picked up the pace as the throng of people began to thin out. Savoring the wind that slapped strands of hair against her flushed cheeks, Akahanna beamed, her grin stretching out across her features. "I just love the feel of wind on skin. Don't you Alexia?" Sighing contently, she patted the muscular neck of the mare below her and murmured a few incoherent words.

Rin was tempted to sigh. Although she had recently returned from a mission a few days back, she was already itching to begin another. She lived for battle, yearned for duels, and craved the feeling of adrenaline during a fight. Chewing on her lower lip, she considered the though of approaching a commanding officer and demanding a task to be given. Who knows whether or not I'd be assigned at the chicken coop, though. Scowling deeply, mask obscuring her facial features save the crease on her forehead, she grunted in annoyance. After a few more steps, she was forced to swerve sharply to the side to avoid slicing a man walking a few feet ahead. Stopping the twirl in her blade, she irritably growled, "Move it." Whether or not the man heard, she tapped both blades against her bare belly, relishing in the cold that the blade brought against her heated flesh. She took a this moment to examine the debonair air that surrounded him, plus the sheathed blade. She rolled her eyes. Typical. A man with a big, bad sword.

"Woudn't it be terrible if you sliced your stomache open and let your small intestine out with those knives?" Rizack asked the female, not taking any real offense. He just wasn't easily pushed around, taking the time to stop walking in front of her to show it. Giving her a break he added "We already have to fight over sized flying iguanas that shoot fire. Useless fighting someone else who wishes them to leave. Give or take."

Alexia Silver
Gently prodded the sides of the horse, she took off with the horse in slow pace before speeding up in open space. Rushed out from the gate, they went straight in full speed aiming to finish their journey as quick as possible. Opposing the incoming slight cold wind, she kept a good watch at the front and surrounding and making sure that there isn't something suspicious hid from their view. Caution was needed since she couldn't be sure if nothing wouldn't attack them when they aren't aware. Even though it was simple escort mission, there was no guarantee on safetiness of their life. While she was checking out for any trap on their path, she was multitasking listening to what Akahanna had spoken. "Wind is elements come from nature. Anything from nature is nice." Briefly said, she summarized her love for many stuffs in two simples sentences. Yes, she loved everything that nature gave excluding the natural disasters. She believed that all of natural disasters are punishment that bethrow on the sinner who hurt the world balance. It was unfortunate for innocent to die along the sinner, but sometime it couldn't be help. 'I didn't expect her to make a friendly conversation though. Well, it's kind of good than awkward silence.' She mildly thought focusing attention forward.

[[OOC: Do you want a time skip? Skip to the part where they reach the destination. @Tsuki= Nice to see you here. ^^]]

Akahanna nodded in agreement to Alexia's words. Smiling gently, Akahanna couldn't help but urge her horse forward, inching their way farther from Alexia. Shooting a glance over her shoulder, she beckoned Alexia with a challenging wink. "Wanna race a bit? I bet my mare will beat your stallion." Noting Alexia's intent expression towards the area, Akahanna couldn't help but feel the need to distract the diligent assassin for a while with some racing fun.
While she awaited an answer, she tucked her draping scarlet red sleeves along her elbow, leaving enough space for her arms to maneuver freely without restraint.

"I'm not so foolish as to allow that to happen. I know my weapons, and I am confident in my skills. Apart from the knowledge of battling with dragons," she smirked, "I still have the urge for battle and blood. It is simply a matter to be known and held. This is my style of living, whether you like it or not." Rin swiveled the blade in the air, continuing to twirl it professionally around her deft fingers. Although annoyed by the man, she awaits in vague curiosity for his response.

((Not really a 'man'. He's seventeen.))
Rizack smirked back. "I'm not the one who called you foolish. You did. Also do you think I care whether or not you live through your weapon?" he responded to the female. Was this all they did while waiting for a mission? He would bore easily if he remained cooped up. It'd also be useless. Unlike her, he didn't take his weapon out every five seconds. For why,... he kept that a secret. Not some dark, mysterious one. He just hated the blade. That was why he wanted to use it. Confusing but you'd have to know his story to know exactly why. And he didn't blindly hand out information like an idiot would.

Rin arched her right eyebrow in amusement. This character certainly had some bite to him, instead of all bark. She grinned faintly behind her mask, knowing that her cheeks showed the motion. "Simply because I said the action was foolish, doesn't mean I think of me as such. Foolish represents my concept and opinion on the idea. As for the weapon, that is also another opinion and voice of my own." Rolling her shoulders, she added thoughtfully, "You take things quite seriously. It's amusing." Mockingly pointing her index finger at herself, she invited, "Please, continue with your remarks. I find it highly entertaining while I wait for something to do."

Scarlet nervously twisted a strand of hair around her gloved index finger, chewing insistently on her lower lip. Although she couldn't help the feeling, anxiety wracked her frame as she paced to and fro, scuffing her booted legs over the dust-strewn campground. She was informed to await either Kain or Fireseed for her detailed debriefing and couldn't help but wonder if she'd succeed or not.
Narrowing her eyes, she mentally muttered, Knowing my luck, I might end up worsening things up. She closed her eyes, her lashes brushing against her pale cheeks as she dropped her head back onto her shoulders, facing the sky as if in prayer. Creasing her brow faintly, she sighed into the air.

Rizack rolled his eyes. "I amuse you? My life goal must be set then." he responded, taking a moment to glance at his weapon. If it had it's own voice he would have surely smashed it. He looked away from the weapon within a moment. So he tickled her fancy? That's wonderful he thought after. A true cynic at heart. Unlike any recruits that seemed lost and had the look of a scared person he looked more observant.

For example the girl pacing back and forth, biting her lip, and such. Three signs of nervousness. She then looked up as if praying. Slightly religious if at all. Meaning she was praying for help. That's how he deduced se thought she would screw something up. His stance was not slightly hunched like most people who walked. His back was entirely erect, being in total balance.

If you saw the beginning if his sword you'd see it wasn't made if metal. Like some a kind of ivory the had little spikes protruding out on the edge of the blade
. You could see from the displacement meaning two things: the sword was a tad too big for its sheath, and he probably stole the sword. He had simple leather padding on. Enough to be flexible but you could see it wasn't the work of a master. Meaning he came from a relatively poor family.

Rin tipped her head to the side, gazing intently at him. She examined him more thoroughly, ranking him as a moderate threat and a skilled fighter. He seems confident enough. Of course, it could always be a farce. Blinking in a vague thoughtful haze, she hummed, "It's nice to know you seek to humor women." She teased faintly. Sharp eyes observing his weapon of choice, she couldn't help but grin, again, behind her mask. Looks different. Perhaps he could prove a worthy adversary or opponent to spar with. His blade... Thoughts trailing off, she voiced, "Mind a telling of your blade, stranger?"

PostPosted: Wed Feb 15, 2012 3:19 pm

Rizack raised an eyebrow. "An ironic story of revenge filled with sighs." he said, avoiding clear details. He lifted the blade a foot up, not enough to leave the sheath, but enough to see its composition. The way it slashed at the air... if the air had a voice it would be screaming. He didn't flinch at the sound unlike most people despite having never actually used it. It was reserved for more... large foes. The handle had an average one, but that where the metal should be pure ivory was. The edges were sharpened on the front side, where Rizack would bring it down to slash at his enemies. Something about it would tell you to never want contact with it.

He let go of the handle and the blade fell back into it's sheath, recreating the screaming effect. A simple red stone was on the handles end. The color looked like it had spent some time bathing in blood. A truly horrid blade. "Yes I find humoring women one of my favorite tasks." he stated. She had her sheaths behind her which wasn't the bet idea. Either she was confident that no one could sneak up on her or she had her knives in her hands a lot. She was wearing minimal clothing meaning she was agile and probably had good aim. How could he figure that out? He had seen a bandit dressed as such, not that she was or he saw her as such, and saw them easily kill several fully armed soldiers.

Rin took note of his reluctance in sharing details, but didn't bother to persist. She understood that if one did not wish to share facts, it should be kept quiet unless given or forced out of. And I have to need to force anything out of him. She scoffed lightheartedly at his answer though, resisting the urge to roll her eyes. The action usually caused her numerous headaches, so she squashed the feeling.
As the blade screeched it's way from it's sheath, she took what little time given to examine the strange blade.
She couldn't help but admire the ivory that adorned the sword, noticed the sharp, curved edges of it's front, and quickly drew up a hypothesis on how the blade worked.
I wonder how he possesses the strength to carry his blade so easily. It seems quite the burden of weight, but I suppose he has practice. I shouldn't underestimate him too much.

Opening her lips to respond, she froze at the sight of the blood-red stone embedded into the handle of the sword. Eyes flashing, she strongly resisted the action of extending her hand to brush her fingertips against the blood-dyed stone. Though she personally had no interest in riches or gems, she secretly adored the color of red. For whatever reason, she was unsure. After all, I saw enough to last me a lifetime. Bitterness swelling her throat, she avoided speaking for a few heartbeats as she rubbed the throbbing maroon tattoo on her left wrist. A habit she formed long ago.

After running her right hand over her hair, she responded albeit quietly, "You must have experience, then." Clearing her throat, she responded more strongly, "How many women have you stumbled across from in your journeys? Wait, let me guess." Raising her arms out as if to pause the man from saying anything, she said, "...You've risked your life to rescue the maidens in distress as they cry out pitifully for aid as trouble befalls them from afar..." Exaggeratedly motioning with her fingers in tune with her 'dramatic' story, she shrugged, "My attempt at storytelling."
Furious at her absurd conversation, and lack of usual behavior, she began to restlessly twirl her dual blades around her fingers as she had previously been doing before. Her gloved hands easily slid over the engraved handles of her weapons as she used her bare shoulder to adjust her mask.

Rizack flashed a smile at that remark. "Not every maiden. Just as long as they have lived their lives in a faraway tower with a dragon guarding it. Otherwise there's hardly danger and not as exciting." he joked as he noticed how she looked at the red stone at the hand of the swords handle. He normally kept it covered but he decided not to as much. When she adjusted her mask he figured either A, she had someone looking for her and she's hiding her identity, B, the lower part of her face is decayed ((phantom of the opera anyone?)), or C, she was just bored without it.

Rin nearly stuttered in surprise. She certainly hadn't expected him to smile. Especially at her. It's been years since the very notion was caught by her own eyes, so seeing it after so long, and seeing it being sent at her caused an involuntary tremble to rake her body. Don't... Do that... She meekly thought. I don't think I deserve to see smiles again.

Hoping that he didn't notice her slight stumble, she cast a bewildered glance at the ground, brows creasing in faint confusion. He actually joked back? He confuses me a bit. Having the urge to, yes, giggle, at his response, she bit down fiercely on her tongue to prevent the action.

Scowling behind her mask, she thought, My mind has returned to that of a child. I, Rin Noto, have ceased from laughter long ago. I will not, even at the remarks of this stranger, express the motion of... She trailed off as a thought struck her. Gazing at the man, she said, "Stranger, might I know your name? We've been conversating and I yet to know."

As she awaited a response, words slipped from her lips without her intention, "How many maidens, then? A hundred? Thousand?" Shaking her head, she couldn't help the smirk that crossed her features, "So you're a 'hero', correct? You venture the lands in pursuit of quests to rescue those in peril?" Although the question was half a joke and half seriousness, she wanted to slap her forehead in frustration at the odd questions. At one point, she sheathed her blade back in it's handle and crossed her arms.

((OOC: Love the movie. ^-^ Especially the song, "Wishing you were somehow here again". His face was decayed? I guess I forgot; it's been a while since I saw the movie.))
