personality: Irayo is loud. He rarely talks in anything below a bellow. The volume only increases when he gets excited. He wants to be sure if someone can’t see him, they can certainly hear him. And he most certainly wishes to be seen. First out in the morning, Irayo will always be the last in. He has places to go, lions to see, and things to do. What might you ask? Well he’ll tell you of course, in loud exacting detail.

While Irayo might be loud and attention seeking, deep down in his heart he wants to be just like everyone else. He kind of envies his siblings their similarities. Feeling that everyone expects him to be different he tries to live up to it. Irayo hopes he can find pure acceptance someday with his family.

personality: Can you guess her favorite color? Blue? Hahahaha no of course not silly! Her favorite color is…. Oh wait yes it is blue! Ienthe fooled you didn’t she? You were funny!

Ienthe always has a case of perpetual giggles. The tiniest thing could set off her giggle attack. Even better, she loves to share her giggles. Laughter is best shared. When she’s not rolling with laughter, she is a magpie. Anything interesting will be added to her pile, but only if its blue. She’s not picky about shade of blue either.

With so many sisters, Ienthe loves to meet new boys. She might not be rough and tumble, but that’s ok. Watching their antics is fun enough.

personality: He can be, in many ways, considered a reliable guy. He’s always sort of… there, really. You see, this little guy shyly thinks he can be a hero of some sort, but rarely actually goes out of his way and tries something. So he tends to play it safe! At least this is how he will behave during his cubhood. Once he gets a bit older, something will happen. Don’t know what yet, but it will; perhaps he will make a friend, or an enemy. And he will change rather radically from a softspoken kid to a louder, more opinionated and determined lion, who knows what he wants and intends to get it. Fortunately, his pursuits will usually be rather good ones (nothing evil, I mean). He also might have some somewhat reckless tendencies, for extra fun!

As for how he feels about his fur color! Well, while young, he might be fearful of getting too much attention because of it, as in, be afraid of being singled out for whatever reason. He’ll be wanting to be more like his siblings for a while. But after his big change, he will simply come to understand that it is irrelevant, and maybe even like it because he'll feel distinguished and cool.

will your cub be returning to the Jini'Msemi Swamplands? Most certainly returning. Her main family are in the swamps.

personality: Aine is a delicate little girl, with so many sisters she finds it hard to stand out among them and so she doesn't try. More likely to be found off by herself daydreaming than playing with her siblings in the mud. She adores her sisters but can be a little intimidated by the more confident girls, always comparing herself to them and finding herself lacking. Her brothers can be exasperating at times, being boys, but she loves them with all her heart and would do anything for them, indeed, she would do anything for any member of her family.

Perhaps because she doesn't have a father figure during her cubhood and most of her family are female, she finds it difficult to relate to any boy that isn't one of her brothers. Yet she secretly hopes that someone will come along and befriend her, someone who picks her out from her prettier, more confident, or lively sisters and wants to spend time with her on their own.... She harbors the dream of many little girls, to be someone's Princess, and for him to be her Prince Charming. But in the mean time she is perfectly happy to wait on the sidelines, being there for her siblings and her mother when ever they need her.

She is quiet, soft spoken and gentle to a fault. In all truth she needs to grow a little courage, but until she goes out alone on her naming quest it is unlikely that she will be pushed into that mental change. She will always remain a quiet lioness even when grown to adulthood, one who feels empathy for others and always thinks of themselves last, or sometimes not at all. But she will mature into a calm and graceful adult in the end, one that her entire family can be proud of.

personality: Being in such a large family, it's obvious that one or two cubs may feel as though they are over-looked, even if that is not the case. This is exactly how Uvuli feels, although he doesn't exactly help matters, as he actually prefers to keep himself to himself. His solitary is pretty much entirely self-inflicted, but being young, he can't really see that. For example, all he sees is that his mother is giving his siblings more attention, rather than seeing the fact that he's purposely hiding himself away in the shadows of the family den.

anything else? Although he might sound like he is, Uvuli is not really anti-social. He just struggles to make his voice heard, and is too young to understand that effort needs to be made on both sides. As he gets older, he'll come out of himself a bit more.
